Is your ecu tuned? If so, how much power did it make? Nice driving BTW!
@stuartjameson7602Ай бұрын
Thanks! I don't know actually, but I doubt it. As far as I'm aware, the only way to tune this ECU is to use the very expensive UpRev software, or to use a piggy back system such as UniChip. As for power figures, I need to get it on a dyno still, which I should be doing soon
@Capitan1nsan0Ай бұрын
@stuartjameson7602 yeah my 350z is tuned on Uprev. The launch control and flat foot shifting functions helped a lot with my times at autocross. I picked up almost 30whp from getting it done

This was a treat to watch. 👏🏽 Until the Mk1 did give you room. He decided that he's going to Apex whether you're there or not 😂

😂 Group 3 was great! Many of the faster race cars would have competed last weekend, so weren't there on Saturday. I didn't really get to set any lap times, but had as much, if not more, fun driving in a close group of cars like that!
@lowdl3 ай бұрын
@@stuartjameson7602 That's great to know. I'll try and book based on when the power series events are. I know that Jason wanted to try and get into both but it seems like Paul blocked that. I have way more fun having proper dices than driving alone trying to set fast lap times so I know you had a blast chasing those guys. That challenge car wasn't really driving seat from you so that's epic. But they brake so late, it's pretty crazy to see.

@stuartjameson76025 ай бұрын
@marcusntsoane4831 Hi Marcus, I have used a few workshops here in CPT. I ordered some of the parts from the UK, and some from a couple of the guys in the RS groups who do a lot of importing and parts supply for these cars. Check out the 'Renault RS Owners South Africa' owners group on Facebook. There are some RS owner whatsapp groups as well

Nice driving. What do you use for data overlay on your video?
@stuartjameson76025 ай бұрын
I use the RaceChrono Pro app, which I have connected to a Bluetooth OBD2 dongle that reads the data from the car. The app allows you to import the footage (or record directly using your phone camera) and export with the overlays

Very cool! How's third great or did you get it done with the LSD? Just received my Blackline ATB, is worth it? Tried it before and after LSD? Cheers
@stuartjameson76023 ай бұрын
@@fredssledshed 3rd gear was the reason for the LSD haha. I bought the synchro rings from k-tec and didn't resist getting the LSD as well, since the box would be out anyway. I can definitely feel the LSD help when exiting slow and medium speed corners. I don't spin the inside wheel and can get on power a bit earlier without running wide. I wouldn't say the Clio is a car that needs an LSD, compared to a Meg, but I'm certainly happy I've got it

@stuartjameson76027 ай бұрын
Thanks! I have no complaints with them, no squeaks or anything, and the extra camber makes a big difference to grip and to stop extra wear on the outside edge of the tyre. I have heard on some of the FB groups (mainly based in the UK) to stay away from silver project, but so far mine have been perfect
