Honda has a larger recall on fuel filler neck (FIRE RISK) another Honda recall on there hybrids ALL OF THEM 2023-2025 due to issues with Fuel pump with a DO NOT PARK INSIDE level warning. in fact Stellantis/Chrysler 4.6 million ford 4.36 million Honda 3.7 million recalls in 2024 all requiring service center visits. and OMG 200k cars from tesla may require a service visit.

The Li Auto CEO is of course trying to big-up LIDAR, because his company have gone all-in with that technology, even though Tesla originally used LIDAR but dropped it in favour of cameras & FSD! Li Xiang only argument is that Tesla's cameras can only see 100metres but LIDAR achieves 200m - is not true. Tesla cameras can also see 200m! A counter argument is that LIDAR's ability is reduced in fog, rain or snow, whereas FSD is not! Finally cameras are MUCH cheaper than LIDAR systems thus enabling cheaper self-driving vehicle prices! We shall see in the next 12 months who is going to win this battle!
