As an EMT who has seen more motorclists faces on the tarmac vs anyone else, I can tell you that 90% of the face I've tried to put back together have been Harley riders in these stupid things. Goodbye, face if you crash in that thing..... If you really must wear a half helmet then i recommend the SHOEI ones

Without a doubt I agree with you 100%. A full face helmet is much more safe than a half helmet or skid lid.

I just traded my RKS 2023 in for an (old, better looking model) Road Glide Spec 2024 in Industrial Yellow/Vivid Black, Saturday! And have 4 yrs warranty?? Hopefully the still exist....these years

Social media was a mistake. For many reasons. HDs troubles are that they don’t make bikes for the working class anymore. The bikes they have are great, arguably the best HD has ever been, but they are too expensive. Indians Scout lineup is fantastic and something Harley needs to emulate with the Rev Max engine at the core.

very well said, i believe Harley can have the expensive bikes with all the bells and whistles for those that want them and can afford the expense, but, create more models that are affordable and create a more affordable option of the higher end models like a street glide or roadlide with less luxury maybe.

Harley Davidson killed itself. HD abandoned their core constituents for the yuppie crowd. Selling over priced un reliable motorcycles. Whatever happens to HD, it's by their own design.

look i believe Harley has a vision for the future unfortunately that vision caters to millennials and unfortunately by catering to them they are abandoning their current base. If they would abandon the live wire experiment they could take that cost savings and cater more to their current base and no i am not a big fan of an electric motorcycle lol

Hi, I appreciate your even keeled unapologetic take on the situation. I don’t have a HD but been looking at them and Indian. Visited both dealers and checked them out with also lots of online research over the last year. The Indian dealer near me closed. The Harley dealer I visited while in Orlando was trying to rip me off big time. Reality is with this current economy I can only dream and just hang on to my bike, period. 2024 was an interesting year for Harley in that it appeared to me, tbe 24 models were technically cheaper and with better things at stock purchase than the 23 models. That left many 23 models on the floor and good incentives for them but wasn’t able to capitalize on this. As for DEI and wokeness I personally don’t like it would rather buy from a non woke company. Reality is many corporations went woke and some get outed and some don’t. Even Indian had gone woke but then changed supposedly. It sucks that it seems Yohan is making HD boujee and not providing better entry level models that are affordable. HD vibes to me were always “Merica” and that’s awesome. I ride with people on all kinds of bikes and always will 🫶. Big picture all bike sales are suffering except maybe the adventure class. Give me a water cooled HD bagger at a decent entry level price and down the road if I could I would buy it. Miami traffic bumper to bumper worries me with air cooled models. Liked and subbed. 🫶👊

NO ! Robbie Starbucks did not destroy HDMC, Harley management and leadership, has been destroying Harley for years. The current CEO and Board of Directors has been trying to make Harley an elitist brand (which it is not and has never been) by raising the price and turning dealers into boutiques. Harley has always been a “nuts and bolts” company and it’s core rider base were working men and women, and Harley not just abandoned the core dealers and customer base, but out right betrayed them. The core customer base doesn’t want or support the Gay, Transgender, Woke, Liberal and the Evil Wacked Society Agendas. I’ve been a long time Harley rider and supporter, but no more, I am done with Harley and their corrupt agendas. Their designs and quality control has deteriorated and their sole focus is to take advantage of the new unsuspecting customer base. Their only goal is Profit and unaccountability. They are following in the game plan of Stellantis and overpricing their products for maximum profit with zero sustainability.

I agree with you 100% on everything except "that social influencer". should not be able to pick and choose who he outs, either out them all or don't out any of them. My contention is that most major companies are doing these things and they are doing them to cater to the left and the kids. Its all about $$$$$$$$$

2014 and later H-D Touring models have two metal frame bumpers on either side of the battery (see Fig, C) that should be removed prior to installing your Saddlemen seat. C
