@vincenthumble Mistakes don't make someone get fired, unless they're accepting kickbacks OR if they fall prey to scammers. But making normal mistakes is NOT grounds for dismissal, otherwise everyone would get fired. The idea that a customer making a complaint would be grounds for dismissal makes no sense, unless the complaint is major. The reason they were "gracious" as you put it, is because they knew they were in the wrong and did not want you to make a legal claim against them. That said, at least in Canada and the US, it's illegal to fire an employee after his return even if it was a performance issue. To clarify, this is unless the company can prove that there was a pattern of poor performance on your part BEFORE your paternity leave. Subsequently in your case from what you said, you should have made a claim for discrimination or wrongful termination. I sincerely hope you read this comment, as this would be helpful for you in the future.

Excellent video...I Went down the RHCSA route bc I'm always for going deeper vs broader and it's been the best decision of my career. The hardest thing is probably picking a lane. Once that's decided upon, the focus and consistency will take you forward. Thanks for sharing and good luck on your journey.

Passed my Network+ today. Thanks Mr. Humble. Something not covered in dion/dean cyber practice exams.. low EIRP value. Select two. 1. AP transmit power. 2. Antenna gain

Passed my N10-008 yesterday and got this exact question too. I don’t even recall reading what EIRP is and couldn’t even guess what it was. But I guessed these 2 answers also. Congrats on passing yours

7:02 I could be completely wrong but I know comptia likes to be sneaky. I think the reason it was 255.255.255.192 instead of 255.255.255.128 is because it stated 64 addresses instead of 64 usable/host addresses. I was also thinking it was 255.255.255.128 until I reread and didn't notice it said "usable" or "host" addresses before or after. (amazing videos btw. thank you)

It looked like simply matching for PBQ 8 but I didn't understand the logic behind it. For your second PBQ, I actually got 74% on it. :)

Answer of question 1 is 77.81.12.12. That ip falls in fourth subnet 77.81.12.12----------77.81.12.15.so network id of that Ip is obviously 77.81.12.12

COMP TIA exams are written so poorly and reference such unnecessary things that it's starting to become a non industry standard. Half the time the questions are worded so poorly, that the correct answer isn't even provided as an option, leaving you knowing you missed a question. As someone who's being required to obtain it, I HIGHLY recommend staying away from it.

If you gonna do the question, don't leave it with out demoing the answer. The correct answer! 😅

Easy way to remember how the OSI model works is spell the letter "U" from left to right and that's how encapsulation and decapsulation works.

Taking my second attempt tmr. Very nervous as my first attempt demolished my confidence and I felt like I barely learned anything. Recovered and went through as much as I could. Feeling good. Goodluck to anyone out there taking their cert exams. Hope we can all be Network+ certified!

Did it start charging immediately? I replaced the battery, but the charger LED won't lit when connected to the laptop. LED is lit though when connected to the base, so the charger is fine.
