Is there an open tuning? I don't understand the part at 34 seconds...

Thank you for doing this man. It's probably the solo that most gives my brain dopamine ever. I just feel great every time I hear it. And this performance is on another level

Does he switch guitars to play the main part of the song? Or how do you play the main progression in this tuning ? Thanks man!!!
@mrfarmdog29 күн бұрын
I was going to ask the same thing. I found an interview article with Lindsay where he talked about coming up with a strange tuning for Frozen Love, and this tuning makes sense for this part of the song. I need to try to use it for the rest. I would love TJ's POV on that.
@jamesadams93427 күн бұрын
@@mrfarmdog yeah I’m going to try it. Hopefully TJ sees this though

@@jamesadams934 After doing some further research, I think the whole acoustic part is played in this tuning. On the live version I mentioned, he definitely seems to play it all on one guitar. However, I think it’s very likely that the solo on the studio version was done in standard. I can definitely make a video showing how a play the rest of the song if y’all are interested. Planning to put some videos out soon, been real busy with work. Thanks for watching!

Thank you this is awesome. Been playing it in standard tuning and it seemed way too hard to get those open string sounds right
