I have a 2013 Honda CRV, I just put 4 inch lowering coils. I only set it at 3 inches I have mustang GT torque thrust rims with 245/18 inch tires. I’m moving down to the South Carolina mountains. I can’t wait to hit the dragon.

Omg where is this and where do I sign up? I got some nice bikes. A mm80 with 8hp flathead and a motovox with 420cc predator. I’ll take either bike out and run it flat out 😂 let’s gooo

Why didn't you use the Old top hats? Was their a reason or just wanted new insted of worn? I'm on blown coilovers, and I'm switching to new Fca brand assemblies and and swapping to the Godspeeds 1.5 drop springs. I already have camber arms just wonder if I'll need anything else?
@oopsracing25503 ай бұрын
Yea that was a "while I'm in there" kind of replacement. They were too expensive so I thought why not. Sounds like you got it all covered though.

Those wheels are off of a 2007 accord. The stock wheel and tire are a little bit taller but still fit no problem.

@oopsracing25506 ай бұрын
You can loop the lines or you can plug them if you don't have fluid in there anymore.
@glennhansel94118 ай бұрын
are any other components needed, or are these springs a direct replacement for the existing springs?
@oopsracing25506 ай бұрын
They are a direct replacement. Nothing else needed! The rear camber will be a bit negative but they sell adjustable rear arms to account for that.
@glennhansel94118 ай бұрын
how does the quality of these springs compare to OEM? Lots of aftermarket springs are cheap quality and don't hold up over the long run.
@oopsracing25506 ай бұрын
I've put quite a few miles on them now and they seems just fine to me! Nothing really abnormal to me.

@oopsracing2550 Жыл бұрын
I believe the clear line was 1/4 inch and then I used a smaller line to connect to the bleeder. I want to say that may be 3/16 or 1/8

So did your bearing handle better now with this grease ?
@oopsracing2550 Жыл бұрын
It actually did do better. I think it would last even longer if I had better cooling too. I don't think those small bearings are meant for what I'm putting them through.

@@oopsracing2550 sweet man - thank for the response! lookin to swap my 89
@oopsracing2550 Жыл бұрын
I don't regret it one bit! The only real downside is the oil pan clearance. I plan on making a skid plate to help with that. Or you can get 1funryd's traction bar with that as an option. I went with ESP for mine but probably would change that if I did it again. Good luck with swap!

Was it worth it? Is it fast & accurate?
@oopsracing25502 жыл бұрын
With the engine swap I went from a cable driven speedo to digital so I tried using my phone. But it was nice and easy to install and works great! It is kinda small, so sort of hard to glance at it at speed but it seems to refresh pretty fast. Way faster and more accurate than a phone gps. If you have no speedo it is simple and easy but I personally wouldn't replace a stock one that is working.

How much is the RPM when the speed is 120 km? Because I have the same model. When my car speed reach 120km, the RPM is more than 3 and half.
@oopsracing25502 жыл бұрын
That is exactly where mine is at. These weren't made to be super fuel efficient so due to the gearing, it runs higher RPMs at the highway speeds.
