The FZ-N1 has been discontinued, Panasonic has left the handheld space. If you're looking for used devices make sure you purchase a device that was configured with voice/data from the factory. They will have the LTE card installed which also has GPS on board.

I'm not sure exactly which ones you are describing but I'll do my best. The extra hole on the back by the ethernet is a Kensington lock hole, it's not a port. I'm not sure which one you mean by the USB. The ports for the CF-C2 are as follows... x1 HDMI, x1 headphone jack, x1 mic jack, x2 USB 3.0, x2 USB 2.0, x1 RJ-45 - (optional ports not standard are as follows) Optional x1 VGA, Optional x1 9 Pin Serial, x1 Optional RJ-11

Im sorry, I wasn't quite clear enough and was a little off on my location. I realized the port on the back left was for a SIM card for the WWAN, but on the left side of my CF-C2, near the front, there is a spring loaded door. I think it's an expansion card slot now that I'm looking closer at it. Thank you for your help.

@@kcoolestdude Depending on the model year and sku of the CF-C2 it could be an SD card reader or ExpressCard/34 reader. If it's on the very front by the mic/headphone jack that would be the SD card. If it's on the side it should be an ExpressCard slot.

If you reset the device without using the Panasonic embedded windows image then it wont be part of the software included. You'll need to download drivers and utilities from the Panasonic toughbook support website. Google "toughbook support center" click on that page, then select "learn more" under Toughbook Software. That page will have the utilities, if you go back to the first page and select you model, MK, and windows version you can also download and drivers you may need.

Toughbooks and Toughpads use a specific manufacturer Windows image, are you installing of a normal windows media? if so there could be a driver issue thats causing issues. I would recommend using the imbedded windows recovery image to reinstall windows and then updating the drivers. If the unit you're tying to install Win 7 on did not come from the factory with Win 7 (ex. newer Win 10 units) then Win7 may not run well on them as there likely isn't drives for Win 7 for them. To check go to Google type in "Toughbook Support Center" click on the first 1 or 2 links that says "Toughbook Support Center" on that page use the drop downs to select "product line (tablets)" > "select model (Toughpad FZ-G1)" > "select support type (all drivers)" then "filter by: (choose the MK of your particular device)" > "operating system (choose Win 7 64-bit SP1)" if your devices shows drivers for Win 7 then you should be able to get Win 7 to work on the device. If it returns no results then your device is not compatible with Win 7 without a lot of work arounds.

couple options 1. power on device use the volume+ & power button at the same time and hold it down until the boot menu appears 2. power on and tap the left upper corner of the screen quickly during boot up. (there should be a boot menu button on the upper left the shows up for a quick couple seconds upon booting) 3. you could also try to plug in a USB keyboard and use normal function commands to enter BIOS usual one of these F2, F10, F12, or Del (I haven't personally tried this method so results may vary) Hopefully this helps

Yes it should be able to run any windows application as long as it meets the hardware requirements put forth by the software producer. You would want to double check the requirements they list before purchasing a unit to specifically run it. Depending on what version of autocad you have this answer could vary.

The scanner has many known symbologies and can scan them in demo mode, you will still need additional apps to port the data into your desired format.

Hey! you are going to want to turn off "adaptive brightness" not the motion sensor. Adaptive Brightness can be found in the display settings. (The G1 is trying to adapt the screen brightness to be optimal for the external light.)

When it was still current some CF-54 configurations could come with 32GB (16+16) but the unit might require special drivers if you install 32 into a unit that doesn't already have that.
