This probably isn't true for developers but when I got the platinum trophie for the game terraria I felt burnt out and didn't want to play it any time soon, but when my friend asked me to make a new world I said sure and I was back at it playing. This is why I think Dani or any other burnt out developers are going to come back you'll just have to wait.

If you want to be serious about KZbin the main thing you have to do is post more often. Me personally i like your style you have a great potential still bare in mind that gamedev youtuber views are usually soft caped caped at around 80 000 views per video, which is probably not enough to comfortably live off KZbin money, so you would need another source of income. For me I'm planning to prep about 17-18 videos before releasing any.

I have tons of original game dev and story ideas. I have 30 game design documents. Most of which are fully completed. These are game stories and ideas never done before, far outside the box of normal culture, or ideas that even are remotely close to anything that exists on this earth. When you explore ideas, art, and stories as if it was an open canvas where anything is possible, the outcomes are endless; it just a matter of taking the risk and testing to see if anyone likes them. They might be way outside the normal box of thinking that nobody cares to like them. Nevertheless, it only takes one to make it a cultural success. I don't share my original ideas with anyone except close friends who've for some reason taken, modified the ideas, and called it their own; ideas which I don't mind. The really good ones are worth keeping secret. There are creatives out there with original ideas like me. We write stories and make art, but nobody seems to want to care about exploring our universes unless it generates popularity. So, for now, the game design docs stay on the shelf.

I member watched a video that Dani's wife talked about her game worked with him. It's kinda recent video, so maybe he's just too busy to bother with YT anyway. I mean I'm full time solo gamedev myself and I know it's not worth the energy to make YT videos.

i know a number of difrent minecraft mod makers and they get ideas from comments witch is a great source of ideas exept when your viewers are not that type
