You actually have made it even stiffer! Stock configuration is the maximum possible softer adjustment. The nudge has to be the last one from left.

even a local shocker repair guy can easily tell which setting is stiff and which is soft...but on youtube 99.999% vloggers are getting it wrong or just cleverly avoiding the main reason for which the viewers are watching the video...strange.

I've tried but it's stiffer. Stock adjustment is the softest.

Nope that's a completely wrong misconception everyone has. By compressing the clutch, you're decreasing the preload not the actual travel of the suspension. It'll make the suspension smoother.

Nope, adjusting them like that decreases the preload and makes the suspension travel smoother. I've adjusted two notches on my bike and I can see noticeable difference with pillion.

When the spring compresss, the suspension gets stiffer... The first setting was the softest...now the spring is shortened / tightly sprung, making it harder....

It looks little confusing i understand I have practical experience after changing if you look a couple of times you'll see that I'm expanding the spring hence making it loose .

@@Grides1000sir with all due respect He's right The stock setting is the softest The hunter comes with the softest setting as default. You have just adjusted the preload and made it stiffer. Not softer.
