I like the summer quaker. That is the one I’m missing out for the 4 seasons.

Good morning! Wow a lot this video!! I got my dip n stitch box this weekend! So exciting! I immediately kitted up (fabric) the cup of cheer! I am waiting on my cocoa quaker, should arrive in the next day or 2. No trim on patriotic. Tinsel on Christmas Quaker. I have FFO over 40 smalls this year!!! My goal was 20 FFO and 24 starts… did both! For 2025, I want to focus on my large pieces. I will still do some smalls. I have about 10 larger pieces, and a couple kitted up, so I am thinking choose 5-6 a month to stitch on. This year every, project got at least 2 hours attention every month. So by cutting in half, I can give more attention to the chosen projects. And filter in a couple smalls. For my floss, I have a master set of all that I pull from to kit. DMC is stored on the atom heart bobbins that are also floss drops. Unless a large project, I don’t need a full skein for a small. So I take 3-4 stands off the floss drop/bobbin for the small. When bobbin empty I know to replace. The set of Dmc is stored in a bisley box. I have an overage section but it’s a plastic bag in a photo box. The fancy floss is stored on the atom heart floss drops with labels from Etsy on them. Same rule as Dmc as far as pulling from master set. I have quite a few cottage garden floss and they are stored same way but on the heart shaped floss drops. They are on rings like yours, but on the cable tie ones with the twist seal so they are more secure. If you want photos of this to see what I am talking about, let me know! Have a happy thanksgiving!!

You got a lot done! I will be going through my larger projects and making a list of what I want to focus on first. I feel good about my progress on my smalls, I think 2025, should have some focus on the larger projects. Happy Thanksgiving!

I know what you mean about trying to match the chenille/pom poms/etc. to a project. I try to think ahead and pick a floss color that matches the trim. Thank you for another wonderful video. I love seeing your work!

I am usually much better at thinking ahead! I think I thought I had a finishing kit for this one, but maybe I don't. It wasn't in the project bag, so who knows? Happy Thanksgiving!

I vote no trim on the Quaker pillow. I think the trim takes away from the quaker, and puts too much attention on the trim. I like it best in it's simple pure form. Looks perfect just the way it is.

Thank you! :) I see your point, about the tinsel. We'll see where I land. I keep going back and forth. You make a very good point. Happy Thanksgiving!

I love watching your Floss Tube videos and just subscribed! We have so much in common with crafting! I am a paper crafter, mainly card maker plus a little scrapbooking. I also crochet and stitch with felt(Nichol Spohr is such an enabler!! 😂). I cross stitched years ago when my children were younger and now I’m addicted once again!! Nichol is the one who got me hooked again! You and I stitch a lot of the same designs! I enjoy seeing your progress and your haul!! Happy Stitching!!! 😊🪡

I did the wheel for my larger projects. Put 8-10 in, once with 3 after the name and once with 5. The number indicates the #of days attention the project gets. I do 2 spins on the 1st of the month. If I finish a project during it's alloted time I "win" a new start from a group of smalls that I have all kitted up. Great motivation.
@Bluebirdpaperandthread23 сағат бұрын
I really like the idea of the wheel app. I am going to have to spend some time on that before the end of the year. I'm making my plan! lol. Happy Thanksgiving!

I love your pillows! I think the red tinsel works with the Quaker. I like your floss storage. Thanks for sharing. For me, it’s about ease of finding what you are looking for which has been hard for me y til I went alphabetical. Happy thanksgiving! Enjoy your time with family! On celebrate harvest, did you use the called for floss for their faces? I’m not liking how it looks and debating changing it. Yours doesn’t look as peachy as mine does …. My sons dog ate my November weigh in chart so I won’t be finishing that one for a while. I’m going to email a picture to swth and see if they will send me the pdf
@Bluebirdpaperandthread23 сағат бұрын
Happy Thanksgiving! I think I used all the called for on Celebrate Harvest. Isn't it weird how the dye lots can vary so much? I don't recall what it was, and I put the chart away. But maybe try DMC 754? I'm guessing at the color.....lol.....It could already be 754, or 754 could be a completely different color altogether and I don't know what I'm talking about! :) Gotta love the animals and the bite marks or destroyed charts. I finished November Weigh-In, it is cute.

I’ve been trying to figure out what to do differently and have been starting to sort mine on rings alphabetically too. I like the scarf hanger! I have my dmc in floss away bags by number in baskets from target. I recently had uv protective film put on my craft room windows. Might be something to consider…. I was lucky to win $500 towards having it done. I also did a window where I hang quilts.

Howdy doo....Happy Thanksgiving! Great to see you have been using your fabric stash. For the Patriotic pillows, I think leaving off the trim. They are primitive looking so plain is my choice. I love those 2 Tday pillows... Congrats for getting them done by Tday! As far as the Christmas Quaker, the tinsel or plain is my choices. How is your son? How is Hunter? Have an awesome Tday! Looking forward to your next video.

Happy Thanksgiving! My son is doing well, he got a job to make money while he studies for the entrance exam to the police academy. He got himself a car as well, so we are slowly getting back to our new normal. I think the Hunter you are referring to is the dog, Gunner??? lol. He is fine. We have regressed a little with some of his jumping, but I am hoping with the time off that I have through the end of the year, that I will be able to give him a little more attention and get him back on track. He is such a sweet boy, just has a lot to say. all.the.time. :)

Happy thanksgiving!! LOVE your finishes, those winter pillows are too cute. I like the patriotic pillows without the trimmings unless you find a similar blue - I like matchy matchy things 😊. For the Quaker, what about a white trimmings, since it already has a red fabric on the back, and also when you said that the red was hard to match I thought about making your own cording will a matching DMC floss. Too many options, I’m sure whatever you decide, it will be lovely ❤.
