I just purchased a computerised Janome second-hand. I got it cheap and I love it (especially the speed setting), but I feel the same way as you, I'd prefer a mechanical Janome with the knobs. I have to write down my stitch settings whenever I switch it off in the middle of a project. And if the computer breaks, it is SO much more expensive to repair!

Would you line the jacket if made with neoprene?
@StudioROSADO14 күн бұрын
Hi, most likely I wouldn't. The sewing process would be quite similar, except for the opening details and neckband panels I would use stitch in a ditch method.

Many thanks for this amazing tutoria!! It's very well explained and at the right pace. For the thick parts, perhaps use a hump jumper?

Hi, I would recommend to go through this tutorial video to see if the process seems understandable for you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4jQeWeag9-lmMksi=wE5VR0nIBPgXTFdL I would say the most complicated part might be sewing the binding tape. The rest is quite straightforward, even the pockets are made in the most easy way possible 😄 However, the details are quite a few which might scare some people. If this is your 3rd or 4th sewing project, I would encourage to try and let me know if you have any questions ❤

I can't wrap my head around commercial patterns that's why I always have to draft my own But most of the time I work better by draping the fabric directly on a mannequin

Use google translate. Можно вырезать крестик на вершине вытачки и отмечать мелом. Концы вытачки можно чуть-чуть (2-3 мм) резать и совмещать при соединении на швейной машине.
