No, not even close. He is the most arrogant Chinese player of all time. On many occasions he showed his mental issues. Then he gambled and even did scumbag moves on his girlfriend. He always was an ass and he always will be my most hated Chinese player

Schlager is my alltime favourite player, because of his variations, his braveness to perform his ideas directly. You could see, how he analyzes the play of his opponent. Great!

Can’t believe that I’m rewatching this game(the first FZD match I’ve ever seen thinking he was obnoxious but talented) after he became an Olympic gold medalist and a Grand Slam winner.

I think this match really screwed Mizutani up against team China. Took him 6 more years to register a win against an elite Chinese player (vs XX in Rio). I remember plenty of matches in between when I thought: he's not that bad, so why the heavy defeats against second rank Chinese?. Psychologically weak. But, I guess in 2021 he finally had the last laugh. Best player in the Olympics mixed doubles final.
