@printify -- Regarding Printify Pop Up Shops -- When you HOVER over ANY product IMAGE in the published store, the resolution is BLURRY and LOW-RES. PLEASE FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY. It has been this way for over 1 year. What is the point of spending time on both high-quality designs AND high-quality mock-ups, if when you HOVER your mouse on the products, they are blurry? ? ? Additionally, please enable DOUBLE-CLICK to ZOOM-IN. The uploaded mock-ups are high definition and should appear this way in the published store during HOVER and DOUBLE-CLICK to ZOOM-IN. This is an easy and fast fix to an unacceptable problem.

Why etsy ads always focus on one listing? For example i had 200 listings etsy ads of course focus only on one listing when i turn off this listing then etsy ads choose another one listing and then focus on another listing and its always like this, i dont belive that one listing is good and another ones is not good and its why etsy ads focus only on one because i made test and if i turn off advertising for top listing then etsy ads take another one listing and then promote...why? Why it cant promote few listing on the same level? Wtf...

Not feeling the merger at all. I have just joined printify and now I'm looking for new print on demand as there are some things on Printful of which I don't like and have read so horrible reviews about Printful so it's maybe a goodbye for a journey not started but it's something I need to do and no prize can sway me.

I highly recommend that you do not use CMYK (ever) unless you are a graphic designer designing a product for big print run. Modern printer drivers and editing software are very good with colors and the trick is to setup your pipeline properly and to understand how each part works (this will take time - you will have to educate yourself.) Some things to do (not in order): 1) In your image editor, set the color profile and size before you start working to match the output target. If you switch between programs, they may be a translation depending on the apps, 2) Do your best to calibrate your monitor (you should use a spyder or other color calibration device, but may have to adjust as best you can - especially screen brightness, which is the #1 problem for way people to get dark prints, 3) Don't expect the screen and print to ever match up exactly - they won't, but do understand how each works and do test prints so that you can predict what you're going to get - your process should be focused on the final product, not necessarily looking great during each step, 4) Paper choice matters - each has it's own gamut range, which is what ICC profiles are for. You should know about soft proofing. Also, cheap paper will always look bad, 5) If you have higher end inkjet printer (If you don't know for sure that you have one, then you don't), work in ProPhoto or Adobe98 and set the ICC for the paper target in the editor - these types of printers use many more colors that CMYK and don't work exactly the same way. Also, they have been optimized to work with a screen RGB based pipeline and you should not use CMYK with them. Here's what won't happen, ever - you'll just pickup Procreate, do a nice color digital painting, print it and get exactly what you wanted. The whole chain is much more completed and if you want a specific output - say a nice poster or image for your online portfolio, then you'll need to understand more about the final output medium and how to make the end product look the way you want.

You're operating as two separate companies, and we don't have answers to any of your questions. I'm not a fan of big companies merging; I'm a big fan of two companies competing against each other. Competition is better for the consumer.

@printify -- Regarding Printify Pop Up Shops -- You MUST add normal alternatives for getting paid-out like Direct Deposit. This should easily be the #1 option for USA citizens. PayPal is a slippery and hard to work with middle-man that regularly blocks transactions and locks accounts with no customer service. If we are treating our Pop Up Shop like a normal business, give us normal business options. Direct Deposit Payouts to our bank. Thank you!

There's a lot of us that want a better quality T-Shirt and we are willing to pay for it. Imagine a heavier cotton and slightly wider cut than the Bella and Canvas, but softer than the Comfort Colors with the ability to print our label inside? Wouldn't that be great? It's out there. Please make it available. ..I know some are going to say the AS Colour, but the fit is just weird and the sizes inconsistent in my tests. Speaking of tests...for those of you starting out, put aside a budget to get a lot of t-shirts printed that don't hit the mark because different vendors and t-shirt types may not be your style and it takes a while to find them and for me the perfect t-shirt is elusive. May have to print on my own to get what I want 🤔🤔

Hello Printify, question, if I create a luxury clothing brand with tshirt or hoodie product using POD, are you able to remove that "Bella Canva, Stanley Stella, Gildan" or whatever brand tags from the product? Because seems ridiculous if I print mw brand logo at the back of the neck with those "Brand tag" still hanging on it

Apologies, it maybe my own problem understanding, but still not clear on which format is better for t-shirts and sweatshirts or hoodies etc. Are you saying - a high quality 300dpi plus PNG is better for more complex designs and those needing to be put on transparent products and SVG is better for simpler designs and those that will be scaled up? If my PNG design is starting out large and only ever scaled down, will the quality be as good as SVG?
@Printify3 күн бұрын
Hi! Both formats can be used just fine for shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, and more. It more depends on the design not the product. What you've stated is more or less correct. :) Both PNG and SVG can be used for transparent backgrounds. PNGs are raster images, meaning they're made up of pixels, also making them less scalable than SVG. PNGs are larger files meaning they can handle high resolutions, while PNGs are typically smaller, but can be compressed without losing quality. PNGs are great for general usage, while SVGs are usually ideal for logos and icons. Hope this helps, but let us know if you have more questions! :)

A good explanation, but it should be noted that if your monitor isn't profiled/calibrated, then it's just a shot in the dark in trying to match screen to print if you don't want unexpected results. For example, if your monitor is too bright/dark (classic problem!), or has color cast (too red for example) then every design decision you make is going to be based on what you *think* is correct with the reality being likely that that vibrant red is actually more orange (for example), or that your teal is actually more cyan than you expected (again, could be anything). The only way to do this is to buy a hardware colorimeter and make sure your monitor is kept in check which is annoying I know but without it, it's just trial and $$$ error. Color management is challenging enough when you involve lots of variables like different print shops using different printers/technicians etc, so the very least one can do is make sure that their own side (your workstation) is at least the strong link in the chain.

Can we have a v neck version of comfort colors 1717 please? Or make the current crew neckline less tight fitting? The current BC3001 v neck may be good for a male customer but not wide or deep enough to flatter a female wearer. Also, BC3001 cuts a little too long and narrow so it hugs the hip area which is a problem area for many people. I prefer the cut of CC1717, which is a little shorter and wider. Much more comfortable and flattering. But thanks for this interesting video!

I think you’ll have to wait till Gildan starts making a v neck in the comfort colors line. They don’t offer it. Printify can’t provide it.

Under one roof sounds less confusing. One thing that I believe that the company needs to look closely are those with new stores. So many want to have some $20-40 subscription fee and all those costs add up which goes against a new store, where the entrepreneur may be still be learning.

How does anyone make a profit when the baseline items are so high? You cannot compete with the same types of supplies sold at Walmart and Amazon. All the clothing I sampled are of poor quality- Shipping is a deterrent when the mentioned suppliers above offer free shipping and a 2 day delivery. I’ve used both Printful and Printify….. This market model just seems to benefit the providers…. Seriously- what’s in it for people who want to make a profit?

Wondering if you could do a vid clarifying what settings to design a t shirt in canva to print with printify? Specifically color. I know canva uses rgb as its colors and I know T shirts are printed in cmyk. Should we be designing in cmyk? I know there is a difference in colors. I haven’t seen a video covering this from anyone. I’ve been designing on canva and saving as png. But don’t want my mockups to be a huge color difference from the printed products. Does it matter

Hey! We've got a great video on RGB vs CMYK. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJubpHh_Ztmmaa8&ab_channel=Printify.
