I seriously doubt that pedalling uphill it's just as stiff as a hardtail. I mean, you have rear suspension. That suspension moves under load. Anyway, can you fully lock out the suspension? I was looking at this year's Neuron CF8, and it doesn't appear that you can do that. At least not remotely.

Wonderful review. Was very impressed with the amount of information you provided and the confidence in your tone really showed that you knew what you were talking about. I also loved the ending of the video on the jumps, it really gave a good idea of the types of jumps a person could hit on this bike. Keep up the good work bro!!

Looking to buy a secondhand one, anyone know how this bike stands up to wear and tear over time? Primarily the Frame. Cheers

This is a very good and honest review! what size is your neuron and how tall are you? im used to having a medium hardtail 2013 specialized carve pro 29er, but canyon says i fit small neuron with 27.5 wheels.... so im still thinking if i should get one. maybe you can help me decide. thanks!!!

Thank you for the great review. I am really considering a Neuron. However, in almost every review they have mentioned that the seatpost is too high. I appreciate that you found a workaround, but why doesn't Canyon fix this?
@SCnative642 жыл бұрын
Nice review! And you're a really good rider! Glad they gave you good customer service and replaced that frame for you. I might buy a Neuron when it is available, but I may want a bike with a bit slacker the head angle - maybe 66-67, a bit steeper in the seat angle, 75.5 to 76, and a longer reach on a medium, so it feels stable with a very short stem. Other bikes have those numbers, like the Fezzari Signal Peak, new Trek Top Fuel, one model year behind of the Santa Cruz 5010 and Tallboy, Specialized Epic Evo and Stumpjumper Comp, but I sure do like the looks of those Canyons.

Great vid! Cool innovation but weighs a ton for a carbon fiber bike.
