"Right in my bullet hole" is an accidental reference to that time Dexter was going to shoot the guy who killed his mother in his knife hole

😢 She looks so empty like theres no life for tomorrow like no souless Well i guess I just got more motivated for idea for my unsolicited spin-off dedicated to Fiona its basically her new life in Miami since that's where she went thats what the writers and and emmy said Unsolicited script that I wrote that's unofficial not doing anything without the writers permission because I respect there intellectual property and have no rights I need Emmy to agree as well

Man Carl's actor really doesn't pull off seeming like a tough guy as he got older. Not like the writers really cared to keep a consistent character and just turned things into a soap opera with Carl going between psycho kid, to trying to join the army, to a white kid thinking he's a black gangster who deals arms and drugs, to a successful police officer. Hard to feel invested and connected to a character when his entire identity and personality can change in an instant to suit what plotlines the writers think will draw the most eyeballs or shoe-horn in social commentary that lacks any subtlety. May as well have him become a university graduate who works in computer science, then he becomes a lumberjack, then astronaut, male stripper and finally president of the US. The whole show doesn't really have an arc building towards a conclusion from start to finish, but meanders season to season like the writers are playing in a sandbox instead of building a show. I get that life doesn't follow a linear plot structure either, but the show deviates into over the top wackiness so much it doesn't feel like you are viewing a realistic family at all. As the show gets into later seasons it just gets clearer that there is no plot or anything to really feel invested in, it's just episodic and season-long plot-lines while the overall show has no point or thought put in to an over-arching main plot. The UK version is far superior to this hollow soap opera

Fiona's actress leaves the show in real life. Is that a coincidence? After all she's been though, why is this the ending?

I love how they made a point to show the manager had just left to take the cash to the bank, so Carl going psycho can’t be interpreted as just protecting the restaurant.

But seriously, how is it her fault? Give me a break. Alcoholics who expect everyone else to be responsible for them are like motorcycle riders who expect everyone to watch out for them. It was your choice to hit the bottle. Now it’s your choice to not drink. They fact that she said she didn’t know meant that at no point did the guy say to her “nah I can’t I’m 100 days sober” I mean he does have at least SOME level of responsibility, wouldn’t you agree?
