Truly hard to believe that after listening to this song, possibly over 500 times that I could come to yet another version and performance that I had never seen before. And still get choked up and emotional with tears running down my face. Love love, love this group! All of them! I’m 62 years old and discovered them a few months ago ❤ So glad I did!

Ik was er zelf gisteren (30 november 2022) ik zat rechts (Ring Noord, Vak 102, Rij 16, stoel 48) Ik ging voornamelijk voor Evanescence maar eerlijk is eerlijk. Beide waren echt steengoed. Zowel Sharon als Amy Lee.

it works in some places .but in general na. amy lee only adds a small bit to it. i got bored of EV set anyway. and amy lee is not that great a singer

Well, when you think about it, Evanescence's songs are usually in a minor key and Within Temptation's are major (I think). Also Amy's voice is rather deep and she can't do the high belts like Sharon. I wish they planned this better, as I was really looking forward to this tour. Ah well.

Amy's voice doesn't match this song. I love Amy so much... but I think it was not a good choice for her to collaborate.

Her voice does fit, u can barely hear her voice due to her mic being lower. Plus this is a recording so also a quality issue too. Pretty sure if she had a solo she would slay but she didn’t.

Not even Sharon's voice is suited for this song and it's a WT song. Sharon's voice is too thin and airy to support this song, which isn't the best for a harmonic duet between them. Amy provided good lower support (which the male vocal does) to Sharon's airy lead but both their voices don't exactly mix well on this song, as Sharon's timbre doesn't have the character to lead against Amy's darker voice

Absolutely agreeing with this comment. I am a Amy lee voice impersonator and I did whitin temptations covers. Sharon voice cried out at this stage and was not blending with Amy lee which was probably also nervous. The two together are stunning thou.❤

Sure you are. I honestly question the intelligence of some people. This is WT's song, Amy is singing the lower male harmony to Sharon's airy lead. As Sharon has a very thin airy voice, her mix needs to be louder to be heard over Amy's darker and dynamic voice, which Amy still naturally modulates well regardless of mic volume
