Great vid! High tunnels and small greenhouses won’t work because wind will obliterate the high tunnel and blow a small greenhouse to the next county 😂. In my experience, deer pressure is the worst in August and September. About the only foolproof solution is a wood fence at least 7 feet high.

so cool, Rae is adorable, wish I could take my little guy camping! We have cat containment laws here where I live so our little Bookit has to stay indoors 24/7. I am so envious of your forests over there. I would love to drive up the west coast through to Canada. We managed as far as San Francisco on one of our trips to the US but feel we missed to best bits....and that Blue Cardinal bird was awesome. Hooray, have been waiting patiently for two + years for this lavender soap to rejuvenate my 89 years old and dry skin. Everything else looks like you guys continue in re-creating an oasis in this arid, dry hot, but, a real paradise, really beautiful. Ray looks well, healthy and flourishing. One way to combat the squirrels problems is to create squirrels pie. ( tongue in cheek)😅

Within the next two weeks we'll be moving to Kentucky out were there's no hardwired internet. So they tell us it's either Earth link or HughesNet I sure hope there's a good signal. I'm mostly disabled so on my bad days Jesus and KZbin are the only two things that keep me head straight. This old biker's head can get real squirrely fast when the pain gets too high... As one of the farm hands, I can attest that the work and the weather and the environment are a brutal combination. We, of course had merely a small foretaste during a small sliver of time. This, definitely, is not a life for the weak. We experienced life there now, when things were great but to realize what went before when there was nothing only harsh, brutal weather and rocks, rocks and more rocks but on the other hand it was balanced by Faith, Vision and True Grit!
