Quite possibly the most serendipitous musical collaboration in recorded history.

So, does the line from the song comes from this movie or is it a common expression in English?

Im a carer. Why on earth he keeps hitting her is beyond belief. Yes its a stressful job and you come across difficult residents that will scratch/bite/kick but you still never harm them. This poor woman isnt doing anything to instigate him being like that towards her which is even more disturbing.

Can't have been 26th June 1983. That was a Sunday and David Jensen's show wasn't broadcast on a Sunday.

The date in the title shows 30th May 1984, which fits with what the Peel Wiki has for that date : "The night Liverpool won the European Cup on penalties after drawing 1-1 against Roma, minutes before the show started. Peel is incoherent with joy and David Jensen has to keep things moving until our host can recover his composure a bit." The BBC Genome record for Kid Jensen's programme on 30th May (a Wednesday) notes that at 8pm there was "Collectors' Choice : music enthusiasts are invited into the studio to play top favourite records from their personal collections.".

David Bowie 8 jan 1997 when asked what song he wished he had written “ the one that comes to mind is Ship building. I think it is one of the most beautiful songs written. Stunning piece of work, makes me cry...just the opening bars...specifically the Robert Wyatt version, I think it’s just the most tragically beautiful song”
