Bringing back memories of the good old days is exactly what the channel is about. That's some gear to get driving as a 20 year old! What part of the world did you operate that?

Hi, I worked on a 2,500 acre farm in Wiltshire, we had three combines. A MF 760, an older NH Clayson and a little old John Deere which I started on. When the John Deere was replaced I got the N H 8070.

That's awesome! Them old sound guard deeres are class. I've a 3040 too, I've been doing her up for a few years after my Granda gave it to me but she didn't have much work to do. He had her over 20 years and she sat in a hedge for most of that, not even 4000hours. But been getting her nice and got a baler for her, does 5 or 6 hundred round silage bales a year along with the hay and straw. Baling with the knives in definitely makes her roar but she's great for it.

Joey was the most understated sportsman of all time. He didnt seek fame or fortune and was reluctant to embrace it when it came along. His charity work alone was incredible. Each year he'd fill his van full of food and other supplies and head over to the orphanages of Romania. One charity worker described him sitting down with the orphans eating corned beef and baked beans. I dont imagine many other famous sportsmen doing that. Michael may have overtaken him in TT wins, but Joey will always be the King of the Road.
