Hey Wesley, I know you've gotten a lot older, but it doesn't really matter. It's so beautiful to see that there is someone on the other side of the world who had the exact same experiences as me. To witness you loving music at a young age and proudly presenting your school is just beautiful. But what I liked most was your great admiration for Heifetz! Since I was a little kid, I've always told my teacher with so much joy that one day I'd play like heifetz. (Spoiler: I never got quite as good as him haha) What a privilege that you get to live right by his studio! He really is the best violinist who ever lived! You are just like me, with the only difference that you are american. (I'm from Germany) It's crazy to see a complete stranger growing up EXACTLY like me and having the same wonderful musical experiences.

Thanks for your comment. The dynamic camera work was meant to fit the dynamic music.

Congratulations for your son! I would like to propose you to apply for the 3rd International Stage4Kids Festival www.stage4kids.de, where young talents from around the world perform on a beautiful stage of the Laeiszhalle Hamburg. Anyone is welcome to apply until the 15th of November 2017, the applications are open for all children aged 4-12, any instrument or ensemble composition are welcome. At the online form the participants should upload an KZbin movie of max. 5 min. (free program). An international jury members are going to make a selection. Thank you, Melina. Wesley's composition has won the local PTA award and is now competing for the state-wide award for California. The state winner then advances to a national competition.
