Great video, I want to ask you in case of discus shipment for many days, when we open bag the ph will increase and ammonia will harm discus, so I seen many discus keeper move it directly to tank without acclimation. Pkease advise

Theres a few extreme fishrooms, with in wall designs, that tank reminds me of. Still not sure why your tank crashed a month ago. Besides not regularly cleaning it.

Its from the rusty impeller pump from my rodi water change station. Every time I was doing a water change, I was adding in heavy metals in the tank. Before you know it, the tank had high levels of metals that crashed the tank.

My Infinia 175.6 just arrived! This video was super helpful for me to figure out if I can put the cabinet together myself. Two questions: 1. Did you put a yoga mat/neoprene or some type of cushion between tank and cabinet? I see some forums recommend this. 2. Do you, in retrospect, still feel you needed that much space behind the tank? I was planning to push aquarium right up against the wall since the cabinet would allow access to plumbing. Thanks!

This comment section is a complete disappointment. Algae isn't generally unhealthy for fish, nor is an uncleaned filter (if anything these are both better for fish health). I feel sorry for this creator who put effort into filming and uploading this video, only to get ridiculed because of some common misunderstandings. I liked the video.

Question.. NOT INSULT but why do people keep a lot of small tanks in a garage? Seems they would be more beautiful in a front room where they could be seen. U seem nice so figured a good person to ask. 😁. I just see so many people will many tanks in garages and nobody can see them. Curious is all. ❤️

Am I seeing a UGF? This setup is great for thick soil but when it is time to remove the muck in the UGF, the entire tank fauna and flora have to be moved out

Hey mate, love your video series since i'm thinking about getting this tank too! Two questions, is it possible to switch the smaller Refugium chamber with the skimmer chamber? I want my skimmer to be running before my refugium haha Also at 6:50 the water splashing seems to be quite loud. Is that adjustable or will it always be this loud? Since the cabinet is open in the back that can be quite annoying if it's always this loud

Floating plants is the answer. They suck up a lot of nutrients in the water and provide shade so the algae can't grow on the glass

As an analyzer technician, first, you should not dry the probe completely. Secondly, after you put the probe to the calculated solution, you should leave it for approximately 3-5 minutes and then adjust if needed. Same for the second solution
