you should come back in 2025 when our stadium nou camp is ready to play in. As a die hard Barca fan the Montjuic feels like a tourist attraction, but it has something nice to it. but most of the fans won't go to the Montjuic because its so far from where we used to play. ive been to the Montjuic las season but idk nou camp is 100000X better

I hate flying and on my first time i drove to Europe, mamy mamymamy years ago i absolutely loved it. Any free day. I'll get in the car and go, Europe is the gateway to the world for me. Its all there. Its just how long u are willing to drive for. Try spain to morroco or try uk to turkey. Amazing. Thanks for the vid

Ring them on the holiday number(on the web site) We costed the crossing earlier in the year and return was 1000 pound...Exact same crossings with 4 days in hotel in northern Spain that they have to recommend was less than 700...Go figure ..Thank me later

My wife and I arrived there by accident a few yrs ago and have been there every year since. It is definitely somewhere we could really see ourselves retiring to. We have travelled a fair bit over the years but immediately fell for Estepona's charm. A wonderful place. Enjoying your videos, really looking forward to the Asian adventures. Happy Christmas.

You spent a fortune, i normally do Calais Port to my villa in Javea in a day of 18 hours, the trick is the time you get to Paris, 2 drivers driving 2 hours and swapping, a 2 hour nap in the back seat is enough for a boost. Your way loses 4 days of any break plus the cost. l have done the journey since 1988.................its changed a lot!. At 77 i will soon pack it in.

Electric car in France would have taken an extra day but been less polluting. Car and plane the same for one passenger but plane twice as much as your trip. Plane 115g/km per passenger where as the car 110g/km with one or five passengers.

A flight comes in at £50 return + £20 train from Colchester. 1.5 hours too.

Nice vlog. 👍 We do this journey twice a year to southern Spain but using the ferry to Santander or Bilbao. The roads are so much easier to drive on, less traffic and very few tolls in Spain. You didn’t mention to change the direction of your headlights. 🤔

Absolutely love this! If it all goes wrong you still have your previous experience and careers to fall back on. My husband and I are in the process of trying to reclaim our lives after being foster cares for 2 decades and losing our 3 hotels during covid. We have retired once already, and we will both be retired again and free in the next 5 years, either that or buried LOL

We have been driving to and from Spain since 2001. Get a toll tag (I used to be an Emovis customer, but they are a nightmare now) . There are several companies that offer Tags that work in France and Spain. I have also driven all over Europe as a coach driver. The Tags will save you a massive amount of time. We worked it out on a trip that we saved up to 4 hours using a tag! second piece of advice would be stay overnight in France in a BB hotel or Etap the euros you spend on the hotel will be significantly less than the amount you will spend at French service stations. Breakfast in the hotel would have been worth the €8 or €10 Euros it would have cost. We have driven from Edinburgh to Tarragona in 1 go with out an overnight stop and it actually takes longer than if you do stop overnight. I have also done Dover to Barcelona driving a coach (2 drivers) and that was a straight through and not overly pleasant, but I do like to drive rather than fly, for no other reason than we can bring back our full allowance of wine and spirits from spain LOL. You will probably find it cheaper to nip off the autoroute and fill up at supermarkets like Auchan or Carrefour (be warned they usually authorise €150 or so and it takes days to get the money back if you use unattended stations). Last time we drove to Beinidorm it cost us £ 135 in diesel outbound and £110 home. averaged 58mpg in a BMW 320D. We did a trip to Tarragona in 2015 in a ML320 LPG and had a horrendous experience when the LPG system sprung a leak on the Paris ring road at 10am, instead of paying €0.90 per litre of gas we ended up paying €1.6 in petrol in a vehicle that does 18MPG! that trip cost us over £1200 in petrol alone! Diesel is definitely the way to go in France and Spain. Thanks for the entertaining video!
