Africans got upset with me when I pointed these things out. But this is the TRUTH!!!!! I observed it and could not understand how and why everyone told me Dakar was so beautiful. I literally got sick from being there.

I know this lady that went there and got sooooo sick, when she was in the US, didn't have any issues. Americans better do research before running to another country.

SCCF is a great idea, but needs more work. From a developing countries focus, to not small island, but low lying ones (150 ft above high water mark). Individual country focus is micro managing. It should be geographical location, like entire Arctic region, etc. There are already global severe warning signsls systems in place. So much better utilization and AI generated anylsis of the same data. 1.5 degrees Celuis of annual increase as been breached despite Paris Accord. Same four primeters as other funds is not correct. You must develop unique and weather related bench marks. More details to follow. Food security and the development of fish farms, not fisheries. Early warming but integrated new system must be developed, anew. From diaster to developing of ecological tourism. More details to follow. Insurance to micro business, to small business is fine, but what about migrating from the current, unsustainable eight billion, twenty-million peeople, besides animals. Each national country housing more than its share of land to human ratio ?

Thanks for the information provided by SCCF from the Internet . We are a small island nation called Papua New Guinea with a total land mass of 460000 plus sq km, situated north of Australia. Some of our small islands have submerged from rising sea levels. Our group is an NGO preparing large nurseries to under take afforestation along the creeks and river banks that stretches miles. Our work now is mobilizing resources to take on this task which will hopefully take some 10 years to accomplish. We can provide detail information of our program should you require them. Meantime we will appreciate to open up dialogue and find some solution to this monstrous natural disaster. Thank You. Helmut Kola Miul Coordinator

While least developed concept is fine, based on four primeters, there is also a need to move up the chain, besides super focus within each primeter. Medium to development concepts need to be also developed, alongside. Within agricultural, diary causes the most pollution. Water adequatcy is more important, to basic availability. Nature based solutions are already developed, like solar and wind, but not so much in bio fuels usage. While twenty million may seems like a lot of monies, large countries like India, Brazil, China and Russia, to even the US, it is peanuts. The actual cost of replacing a smoke stack is much higher, even for a single state like New York.

Update 5 years later: in a local Cham island restaurant I saw a cage with 2 land crabs with these official stamps on, albeit rather faded. I enquired, and the owner took me to the back of the restaurant, and opened a large sack full of stamp free crabs, which he said are not taxed and therefore cheaper. The system needs stricter enforcement, otherwise the stated goal of sustainable harvesting won't be achieved. Date of visit: September 2023.

As the climate heads into greater extremes globally, how can we best deal with future climate crises? The short answer is that we cannot deal with them unless we take care of nature's inner balance. We live in a tightly-closed and interdependent system in which everything boomerangs back to us. While living in such a system, we need to reconsider what we want and think, and how we treat each other, because our human connections are the primary influence on how nature responds to us. It is common to think that climate is dependent on factors outside of us-whether it be balances between heat and cold in the environment, or the effects of various kinds of pollution we emit-because we lack a complete picture of how our attitudes to each other bring about the strongest responses from nature toward us. No creature distorts nature the way that we people do. And it is not simply a matter of switching to renewable energy sources, electric cars and the like; it is a matter of how we relate to each other. If we truly wish to witness more balance throughout nature and not have to deal with all kinds of cold waves and other natural disasters, then similarly to how we have electricity, water and gas meters in our homes, we should also have meters that count how much evil we emit into the world from our negative attitudes to each other. What I mean is that if we could feel the extent to which we emit negative forces into the world, which negatively ricochet back to us, then we would wish to change this negative driver within us. We would want to switch it to a drive that makes our human connections positive, and which harmonizes us with nature. In simple terms, when we get up in the morning, we should first and foremost consider what we need to do in order for all people to have it good. Developing such an attitude is not so simple, yet we will need to seriously work on it as we head into the future. A life of increasing blows from nature or a life of peace and harmony depends on the extent to which we impact a shift in our attitudes to each other-from negative to positive.
