They were also behind an act 'Girls can't help it' who sang over 'Rhythm of the jungle'. There is a five track CD available of their works.

Yes, it's Alan Holdsworth. I was at the gig, and discussed it with Alan years later. Case closed.

Thank you. Some people here actually think this is NOT Holdsworth!
@danielmacdonald8349Ай бұрын
Obviously the people who think it’s NOT Alan Holdsworth are not familiar with his earlier work. If I just heard this song on the radio I would know it was him as soon as he ripped into his solo.

As I said below, 'Aggressive Travelling' relates to a version of this song with different lyrics which WAS about 'aggressive' travel. From what I remember, over the slow piano section the middle, it went: "Ticket Inspectors have become a disgrace, punch your ticket, then punch your face..."etc.

Dave Stewart is a great keyboardist and composer. And an incredible soloist. I guess if he had worn a cape (Wakeman), or stabbed his organ with knives (Emerson), he’d be famous too. So much of life isn’t remotely fair, it makes me weary

I've listened to Holdsworth's guitar playing for close to 50 years - this is definitely him. And he's ON FIRE! I can't even believe this exists, talk about rare recordings.

Thank you! Glad you enjoy it. Definitely Holdsworth at his most outside; he must've had a great pint of ale before he took the stage! :)

The Electronic Drums is exactly the reason why music sucked after 1981. Even Terry Bozzio went Electric Drums on the 2nd Missing Persons album and that went right down the crapper.

All of them at one table having a bite to eat and talking bout all things music.Then one of us internet virtuosi ( who happened to get an invite to this auspicious evening) piped in “ Which one of you is the best ? “It’s embarrassing….

I lot of Brian’s stuff has similar riffs and style. Because of that some might say he has limited talent and that’s ok. We don’t care. We just “KNOW” it’s him when we hear it! And we love it! He has an unmistakable sound that only the greats accomplish. So, “whenever you’re ready” 😉 just accept that! And enjoy the smooth, jazzy, melodic and fun sound of Brian Auger!
