thats in later expansions when they cap the aoe or make mobs lower lvl than you stun you or reset after a certain amount of time in combat.

Hey, how do you deal with the 15 sec slow ? i had a run with 3x that slow.. could safe it 2 times with cold snap and R1 blizzards but the third slow was just 2 much :D
