Appreciate the shout out! I'm anxious to read The Blue Wolves of Mibu volume 2 to see how I feel about it. The main thing I liked about volume 1 is how the perspective of the Shinsengumi is presented as the "good" perspective. Since they historically lose the war, it's easy to see them as "the bad guys", but they were people who thought they were doing the right thing in supporting the government that existed at the time.

Welcome back. I admit that the front cover of Fable put me off without me even knowing anything it. I know that you shouldn't judge a manga volume by it's cover nut it's often the visuals on the front that get me to pick up a new series.

I liked bloody mary a lot but you need to know it's not BL. I really love her artworks. the mangaka wants you to interpreted the relationship like you want. in german its listed as BL and people were disappointed. The story is cute, funny and there is also drama. I bought it cuz of the bad reviews cuz they were disappointed that it its not BL. I like BL but it’s s not my favorite. in the end i wished for little bit BL XD. also in german there are more works form Akaza Samamiya. in ballad x opera there are bonus chapters about the main characters from blood mary. her newest work thats released here is mr. mallow blue (Mr.マロウブルー) and people seemed to really like it. Probably cuz now its listed as drama and they won’t get false hopes. I hope i wrote it down so you can understand it. I’m from Austria and had a bad grade in english. sorry DX but love youre videos :D

I'd say if you're reading Outbride, definetly don't judge it by the first volume alone. I'd definetly reccomend ideally reading until volume 3 or at least volume 2 :)

Yes they truly are one of em even put a volume on stock early so I could have it it was laying on the table and I asked if it's on stock it wanst on the system was scheduled a week later but he told me to wait and in 10 mins got the volume😌

Not sure which one scarred me more, bokura ga ita or sunadokei 😅 bokura ga ita most likely since I started reading when i just hit 20 and it messed me up . Even after it finished, i am still not okay🫣 Good luck collecting them. I have random 8/9 volumes.

@@GeekyDreams great to hear that, happy for you. I read red river through free scans more than 10 years ago, maybe 15 almost 😅 where I lived then I didn’t any means to collect physical copies. Now that I do it is all out of print and super expensive as used book. I absolutely love this manga, top tier romance and adventure, this is how isekai should be🥰

Thank you ☺️ yes Dave’s in Brighton they have 2 stores one that has all the comics & manga the other one is 2 door away and they sell figures older comics. The manga is in a small room out the back😊

Ugh, scalpers are the worst 😤 I hope you enjoy Rainbow Days, I like it a lot! Basically is the romances of 4 high school boys and it follows from their pov which I find really cute. I like all the boys, but one of the girls is kinda irritating.. It also has an anime that is cute! Glad to see you're finding some of the reprints you've been waiting for! 🥳

I've just picked up 1-10 of From Far Away for a good deal so trying to get those last four volumes will be a mission for this year. But apart from preorders I'm going to try cut back on spending on manga for the foreseeable future... Let's see how that goes. I still need to pick up Astra lost in space and hopefully that'll be it. Also Rainbow days is pretty good, it's about 4 guys who are friends finding girlfriends, don't want to spoil anything but the first volume is a lot of fun, love the friendship and banter between the friends. There's an anime that came out some years ago that's worth giving a go, it's why I'm reading the manga.

@@GeekyDreams Yeah it was on my to buy list originally but then I saw the prices it was going for and then was like I can't afford nor justify these prices so I'll pass but then randomly I found a seller the other day with a very affordable price so I snapped them up. I read the manga from my library a while back and really enjoyed it so looking forward to adding the series to my shelf. I think you'll enjoy Rainbow days, it's relatively light hearted and cute

I don't collect many manga series. I will continue to pick up Komi, but as for a new series, I am super super super excited to be getting the physical volumes for Akane. I've been reading it week-to-week on the Shonen Jump website and it is so good I can't wait to own it physically.

Lovely haul! I read Kaiju No 8 on the SJ app and really liked it, so planning to pick it up soon too! I love the way the covers and spines look with the bright colors 😍 Hope you enjoy your Snow White read through! I just read it all in December and I LOVED it 🥰 There's one small section that was a little disappointing (for me personally) but other than that small plot line, I really like the series!
