Beautiful video. Last time I have watched like 30 videos from Rotterdam and it might be the best, but definitely top3! What I loved about Rotterdam is sound of birds. When I firstly arrived I felt welcomed by them. I hope I will be back soon...

16:24 protected by law to be forever the tallest building in groningen : No other building is allowed to be built taller then Olle Grieze ( Old Grey one) ..for almost 600 years it has been, and now by law will remain the highest building in the city

2:18 the most annoying thing now in Groningen are the mopds and scooters.. they disrupt the whole city-laid-back-vibe.. Born and raised there, but for job moved away, not too far ;) Delfzijl, just 30 mins, hahaha, that is as far as I can poop without the Martini Tower :p

Thank you for showing us Clifden. I am very impressed with the town, the pretty coloured houses and the lack of litter and rubbish in the streets. It looks like a lovely place to visit or live in.

Is there direct connection from Dublin or first I need to reach Galway?
@dutchwalker119311 ай бұрын
There is a bus line from Dublin to Clifden. Otherwise you can take the train to Galway and then a bus to Clifden. Don't no what's faster.

this court of justice on the right imposed a suspended sentence for drunk driving. It also converted me into a jailbird when I had to do the time for stealing a bicycle. Really and truly. I left town and emigrated.

Mooi hé, die oude gebouwen in mijn stad. En veel fietsen. Over de Akerk, de toren is van de gemeente, de kerk zelf is van een stichting. En het lijkt alsof er iets to doen is, een feestje, of concert, expositie.

"Such a vibrant and lively city! The market looks amazing with so many stalls. Groningen's historic charm is evident throughout the walk. Can't wait to visit this beautiful city someday!"
@LogiForce869 ай бұрын
Vibrant? It is ABSOLUTELY dead compared to 40 years ago. De street on the right at 12:40 called the Herestraat used to be so busy on warm sunny days that from the point where he was filming to the other end you had to walk heel to toe as if you are sardines being squized through a funnel. The Grote Markt and Vismarkt were the same by the way. Try to find footage of the late 80s and you will see what I mean. Trust me as a born and raised Groninger (someone from Groningen) since 1986 I know how busy it used to be.

Thank you for making this. I went to the Willem Lodewijk School from late 1970 till the end of 1971, when my family went to Leeuwarden for a year. (My Dad was born there, but I was born and live in Australia). It is the building on the left on Druifstreek before you walk up the narrow lane from around 10:20 . We lived not far from the old jail which I needed to walk past (on the other side from where you walked). I am amazed as a 7 year old I occasionally walked, either at lunch time or after school, into the centre of the city as you did to get something from the shops (maybe an errand for my Mum or a toy or something for my self). At some time I would like to go back and visit.
