Hiii 😊 i really love ur vids and i have an impromptu speech competition in around a week and a half so i have watched all ur vids but i seem not to be how proffetionals speak can u pls give me some tips about it and give me some tips on how to start the speech like do you add your name in the beginning or somthing? Pls tell me 😢

I wouldn’t start with your name. I would start an impromptu speech with a phrase that introduces the topic, (even partly repeating the question or topic is okay). I’d also end my speech with something similar so that it concludes the speech. In the rest of the speech I would give examples or stories that show my ideas or opinion. People love personal stories so they are always a good way to talk about the topic if they fit in with it. I hope to make an impromptu speaking tips video soon.

It’s not really enough time to plan anything so my advice is that you use that time to think of your own opinion or a story related to that topic.

I honestly didn’t thought that it would take me more than 1 minute. I guess I am either a slow speaker or my ideas are too big for 1 minute to hold up.

Before we start we often think one minute is a long time to speak, but when we start speaking we find it is very short. You can try the two minute impromptu videos or pause the timer on the one minute ones and just keep speaking.
