every sport that has curves can be looked at as calculus, it could also be looked as from a physics perspective which is the best math 😁
@DemonDeMintКүн бұрын
Understanding physics helped me with learning how to skate and Ollie and kickflip aswell or it can be looked at as trial and error, biomechanics, etc. always keep an open world view 😊

Atleast to my average brain, it seems, all sports are build on maths, with calculations running at phases during the pursuit, phase transitions could be - anticipation, premeditation or reaction and execution based on muscle memory. An athlete improves buildup,,precision and consistency in his/her sports through deliberate practice and home work, every day.

math can be used to model things that happen but nobody is doing math while they're actively playing. It's all intuition

It's not impressive to put it over the net, if you kept it on your side and passed to you partner, that would be impressive.

Go dig them then. One was a diving one arm save, which yes, while it could've been controlled better, he was also full sprinting to get it. The second however, was a one arm stab/scoop off of a very good swing. Instead of talking with so much pessimism, go out there and prove you can do better in a live game situation against top players. Stay humble

6:09 I'm confused here. Aren't digs allowed to be doubles/lifts when it's a hard driven ball? Or is it only doubles that are allowed when digging hard driven balls?
@MeepMeep885 күн бұрын
Assuming the ref is SUPER lenient one might even call it a "block" since there's no determined distance as to what "near the net" is in the rule book. And we all know with blocks, doubles/ "rolling off the hands" / prolonged contacts are allowed (hence swat blocks)
@sharkh204 күн бұрын
Also depends on if that hit was considered hard driven. Think it was a pull dig on a non hard driven ball.
