In 1984, I had a motorcycle accident in Recife and was rescued by a French couple. The last scene on Earth that I remember was inside the hospital, someone slapping me in the face to get me to tell them my phone number, and after saying it, I passed out. Immediately, my body felt very light and relieved, but then I entered a dark tunnel with images to the left and right, and on one side were the wrong things I had done and on the other, the good things. Then I saw a bright light at the end of the tunnel and there was a kind of reception area and a door. There was a kind of VERY TALL sentry guarding this door, a very tall door. I felt thirsty and very scared, and I risked saying something, trembling and crying: I WANT TO GO BACK!! Then this sentry told me: NOBODY IS COMING BACK FROM HERE!!! But with an arrogant voice and as if he could give orders. I started to shake and tried to explain that I had a son and that when I came back I wouldn't do anything wrong anymore, but he indifferently replied NOBODY COMES BACK FROM HERE!!! Then at the height of despair I remembered (I believe that THE HOLY SPIRIT made me remember) that when I was a teenager, I had tried hard to go to church but I hadn't had the strength to persevere because the world attracted me too much and I was too young, but before I stopped going to church, I saved a verse from the Bible that says: Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, even though he were dead, yet shall he live; John 11:25. So I said to the sentry: BUT WAIT!!! When I was a boy and I read that Jesus Christ GUARANTEED that even if I died.... I DIDN'T FINISH SAYING WHAT I WAS GOING TO SAY because at that moment , A VOICE, LIKE THUNDER, said: YOU CAN COME BACK!!!! I felt relief at that moment and the sentry, stuttering, said: BUT NOBODY IS COMING BACK FROM HERE!!!! THE VOICE DID NOT NEED TO SAY ANYTHING ELSE!! The sentry, very upset, said to me: IF YOU TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS, I WILL BRING YOU HERE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COME BACK!!! But he was very angry!!!! So when I woke up, I was in an isolated wing of the hospital and I was in a very cold place and when I came back, THE WEIGHT OF MY BODY RETURNED AND THE PAINS, IT HURT A LOT!!! And I groaned, then I heard the nurse scream: OH MY GOD IN HEAVEN and then she came back with a doctor and I clearly heard the doctor ordering the death to be crossed out and saying RESUSED AT SUCH TIME!!! Then I found out what had happened in the motorcycle accident, I had had a head injury, my head was still open and the blood had clotted and for a moment I thought I was going to be paralyzed because my leg couldn't move, one of them I had broken my femur!!! As if the facts narrated were not enough, suddenly a Frenchman entered accompanied by a French Consul and a policeman. The Frenchman, who spoke Portuguese well, was in ecstasy because he had helped me and the police detained him, thinking that he had run me over. Then he said to me: I CAME FROM FRANCE AND I STUDY CASES OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEAR-DEATH OR DEATH EXPERIENCES. I HELPED YOU. I WAS HERE AND SAW YOU DEAD. THE NURSES AND DOCTORS HAD TOLD ME THAT YOU HAD DIED AND I DIDN'T BELIEVE IT. I WAS ABLE TO SEE YOU AND YOU WERE DEAD, LIFELESS AND I SAW IT!! AND NOW I SEE YOU TALKING!! PLEASE TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED BECAUSE IT WILL HELP ME A LOT IN MY EXPERIENCES!!! I remembered the threat the guard had made to me not to tell anyone, and then I got scared and said: I CAN'T TELL YOU!!! He insisted and asked again: BUT DID SOMETHING HAPPEN???!!! And I answered: YES IT HAPPENED!!! He still tried to insist and I didn't tell him, and that was when the Consul asked me if I could testify that ANTONIE (that was Frances' name) had not run me over, and I confirmed it IMMEDIATELY and said that I remembered him helping me!!! I spent 6 months in a wheelchair and 8 years later, when I was completely recovered, I went back to the Hospital da Restauração in Recife to try to access my report, but they had already computerized the entire system and I didn't have access. Today I know that I don't have to fear the threat I suffered from this guard and that Jesus Christ honored His Word: Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection and the life; He who believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this? John 11:25,26 I TELL THIS TESTIMONY OF MINE BEFORE THE EYES OF GOD WITHOUT ADDING TO OR TAKING FROM IT. BELIEVE IN IT WHOEVER WANTS TO BELIEVE. THIS HAPPENED TO ME!!! DO NOT BE IMPRISONED BY THE PRESSURES OF THE SYSTEM AND SEEK TO KNOW THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO GIVES YOU ETERNAL LIFE AND BLESSES YOU EVEN IN THIS LIFE.
