Still would like to see the simple turbo on the dyno. I know y'all had problems last time with the drive shaft. I got my one piece drive shaft through JE Reel. They make good stuff.
@LocalLosers5202 күн бұрын
It will be going on the dyno soon!

Ur funny😂 any new turbo build is gonna crank for 15-30 seconds minimum anyway. What if you let the car sit for a year and go to start it? You gonna take off your oil line and prime it? 😂
@LocalLosers5206 күн бұрын
After the motor has made oil pressure, the oil will form a thin film on all the bearings, and it should be fine. If you really care about your motor and car, you should prime the oil system after sitting for a prolonged amount of time. Believe it or not, but new builds don't always make oil pressure right away. Defective oil pumps or ones that are not properly primed can potentially never make oil pressure.

I was always taught to prime the oil system as if you’re opening the oil circuit for me I can just unplug injectors and do it a few times for 30seconds each
@LocalLosers5208 күн бұрын
That definitely works!

WD-40 is not oil
@LocalLosers5208 күн бұрын
It's a lubricant. We're not too worried about the semantics. Just lubricate your turbo.
@Cale-ib1im8 күн бұрын
@@LocalLosers520 its a deproductant of rust, not a lube
@LocalLosers5208 күн бұрын
Their website says it's a lubricant, but hey, I'm sure you know better than them.
@mike39638 күн бұрын
WD-40 is also a degreaser. Lubricate with a dedicated lubricant. While it can work as a lubricant, it doesn't for long. @LocalLosers520

@LocalLosers52012 күн бұрын
It really depends on what type of parts you are looking for. Turbo, intercooler, fuel, wheels, exhaust are all universal, typically. Engine parts can be found at O&J Performance. Also, there are a few guys on IG that sell D21 specific body/suspension parts.
