Rare Birds doesn't quite live up to Fanfare for me, but it's still a great album.

Just saw Nick Lowe in Denver with Los Straitjackets and Elvis Costello and the Imposters. FANTASTIC! Just seeing Cruel to be Kind live was worth the price of admission. I love Nick Lowe.

Jenny is one of the coolest people. After watching this tell me you wouldn't love to just kick it with her. I just love everything about her. I sadly only seen her live one time but she was very sweet to everyone and her show was fabulous. We definitely need more people in our world like Jenny Owen Youngs!

Totally agree. I've only really discovered Nick Lowe a few years ago, but slowly and surely he has become one of my top favorite artists. And I'm pleased to know that I'm entering my fanhood during what seems to be Nick's peak. His last 10-15 years of music, for my tastes, have been as good and better than almost everything that precedes it. And that's a huge compliment, because his older stuff is quite good too. Knight this dude! I've become an apostle of the Jesus of Cool. :)

Ethan-what you learned worked incredibly!! When i heard the snippets i bought your heart (album for those...) immediately. Wrote a review on Amazon on 5/3/17. The soul of this album has such a classical melody to it in the voice, the quiet, the space. your voice translates the stories in a way smacking of a reflection that is commanding. at home i put it on thinking i would work around the crib while listening- I wound up sitting down to listen and eventually ended up laying on my couch just listening. This is good gospel (a story of a life). soul. recalling life and expressing it sacredly. Bravo brother!!! BRAVO!!! It's simple. short. resonating. Being a New Yorker....this inspired the consideration of space and the importance of telling a story. If a deluxe EVER happens...with orchestral extensions....WOW!!! Thank you for this Mr. Gruska!!! Thank you to all involved with this coming into the world. Bravo. Ethan thank you for taking the chance!!!

Dylan is honestly so inspirational, and from what I've seen, an amazing person. On top of that, he's a timeless artist. I can't express how happy I am to have discovered Dylans music.
