friends and i used to take lsd. get a big flashlight some beers and smokables and go down into tunnels in east kildonan...we would explore for hours..scared and trippin....pop out 2or 3 hours later ...deep in elmwood...ahhhhh the 80s

Hey man. Don't mean to bother you but can you pretty much confirm that there's tunnels under winnipeg? I've been looking into this for years and have heard about them but never met someone who's been down there(live in winnipeg as well). Do you think they're still accepting?

This is great! I'll play this when I need white noise. Sometimes I'll get a little lost watching logs glow . College essays are a lot easier to deal with, with this on. Thanks for doing this video! It's a big help!

Back in the '70s, a friend and I travelled to Vancouver on the old CN Super Continental and Al Sparks was the bartender in the bar car. We asked him about the unfortunate death of his opponent in Winnipeg. He was very gracious in his reply and said that it was a real tragedy. What I remember most was what a nice man he was, and I feel privileged to have met him.

Thanks for posting this, Shaun. I recall a streetcar serving as an ice cream stand at the west end of Victoria Avenue sometime in the 1950's. I presume the boulevard down the centre of Victoria was where the streetcars ran???
