i think you should use it manually to get back home. there is no big difference in percentage droping battery in sprots mode or in eco mode both take approxmately 8 to 9 sec. as you can see the drone is travelling 200meter in 1 percent battery in sports mode but in eco mode it can only travell 100 meter per % battery , so accroding to my calculation it will take 10% to reach 2000 m if you flew it manulaly.

The lion was put to sleep after closing time and the barrel was removed. The zoo said it will no longer use barrels for feeding. Other than panicking the lion was unhurt thankfully.
