Wow it looks so amazing, im hoping you can answer this question. I plan on visiting Zion late January/ early February, was the roads icy? Should i be concerned?

Title should be changed to Peek-a-Boo (slot) Canyon near Zion National Park to avoid confusion.

Truckers ! never ever drive on Nevada 374 connected to daylight Pass , you'll burn down truck or trailer ,it's dumbest road sign in Nevada

Thanks a bunch for posting this. I'm working on a podcast episode about hiking Northgate Peaks (Trailhead is at 37:39 in your video) and was struggling to remember exactly what the drive to the trailhead was like. This helped jog my memory!

Hi there, nice video thanks for sharing. Would appreciate any help you could offer as far as hikes in that area? We have done Kolob arch, is that in the area where you filmed this? Safe and happy trails
@Hikingindepth3 жыл бұрын
There is a nice easy hike called the Northgate Peaks which is off this road. It starts at the wildcat canyon trailhead. The Kolob Arch hike you mention is in the Kolob Canyon area of the park and typically accessed from the lee pass trailhead. However it can also be access via the Hop Valley Trailhead which is also along Kolob Terrace Road.

I love your videos with just the sound of the car's engine. I always turn the sound off. Its takes away from the visual zen. Too intrusive. Native American music would be the best for the southwest.

Is the camera on a gimbal? On the hood of the car? How is it able to not get affected by the wind? Is this a GoPro?
@scenicdrivesofamerica70963 жыл бұрын
Yes, GoPro 8 with image stabilization on and a gimbal attached to the hood with straps. Most videos, I’m not going over 45 mph. 👍

Hey 925 FPV, thanks for asking and great question! All of my videos are actually shot with the camera mounted on the hood or bumper of the vehicle.

this place looks like heaven ..... it sounds maybe crazy but i think they should only allow people to visit this park who are willing to film the location just like you did ...nature should not get disturbed by a huge amount of tourists .....

I agree with you to a point. It upsets me that places so peaceful get trampled, littered and graffitied by folks. Thankfully, they are few and far in between. Definitely a heavenly place! Thanks for watching!

Hi Brad, I posted in your discussion wall on your channel. I try not to spill the name to tons of people because the area has seen so much more traffic (and trash, poop, and graffiti) and I would rather it be enjoyed by few than trashed by tons! Thanks for watching the video!

Hey again. Great drive. Reminds me of driving in Yellowstone. It's wild that this is just hours from the desert landscape near Moab. The west is so diverse, I am longing to get back out there. I appreciate not seeing your vehicle in these videos, good for immersion. Makes your content unique. Heh I have been binging your channel. (as I am sure you are aware!) Anyway, thanks for the video.
@scenicdrivesofamerica70964 жыл бұрын
Thanks for all the input! Yeah, the area is so diverse. Hopefully I can get a broader range of videos coming out soon. With California shut down, I am nervous to commit heading out that way but might go anyways. For the Joshua Tree video, I actually found the old project so might change some/do some updates, but I agree, the first one was much smoother! Thanks again!
