Good job Billy, My bearings let go on the first day of a trip to Ireland… a real pisser for sure! I removed mine yesterday with the help of a mate who had the same kit… we initially had similar frustrations as the bearings were stuck rock solid… so you need to get yourself a heat gun. We heated the hub of the wheel only, and the bearings popped straight out with the slide hammer! Great video though… much enjoyed.

Use oven cleaner and steel wool. That will do it.

Completely agree with your review. Recently adquiered a 2016 model with only 9000 miles on it, with all the accesories I could imagine. So a soon as i got it on my hands, started riding home, which is a trip of 600 miles trought the Andes mountains of Perú. After almost 20 hours of continuing riding, i could surely say that this bike is a dream, and the best bike for long trips. I think i will keep it till the day I'm gone jaja

You're wrong about the screen adjust being on the wrong side. The screen can be adjusted with your left hand when you're on the move. Try that with your right hand...

Great video. Just had one of these delivered yesterday. Never owned a compressor before, although have borroed one in the past. I ended up here as couldn't see how to connect the airline to the compressor. Turns out I just wasn't pushing hard enough. This video certainly helped. I brought it also to seal the bead of a tyres. Car been sat on axle stands for 5 years, need to get them inflated to move it to the other side of the garage.

You can see how thin the steel is. The refelctions are all over the place and where the upright divider joins the frame is completely deformed. I have seen a lot of bad reviews of these and bulk aftermarket sales of bent and damaged units, so I think they are cheap chinese imports significantly marked up for people who think they are getting a bargain.

Great video, just bought a pair… in your time with them, have you found the best way to clean them after a wet ride? The leaflet that they came with isn’t much help and I’d rather not upset the waterproofing! Cheers

I need this done on 2 1250’s in the USA. Does anyone know of a suspension shop that can do this? Otherwise, can I send them to the UK for T-tech to do them? Shipping may kill me though

I brought a Blue Gen 1 in 2015, a demonstrator with 4000km. Sold it 2019 with 140,000km. Only issues, two clutch slave cylinders. Always regularly maintained. Then brought a White 2018 XRX 1200 from a friend ( who went to BMW) with 21000km. Now have 87000km, only issue, another clutch slave cylinder! Look after them and you will be most happy !!

Lukasz was fantastic in explaining all what he would be doing to both the front and rear suspension. Sent me photos and video of the updates on work he had carried out on them. Brilliant service.

I started using a plug kit called Dynaplug.. super slick!! I was remote and hit 2 nails.. 1,000 miles later and was holding solid… it’s very fast and just another option… The little screw plug makes great sense!!💯👍🏽

If l was forced to buy one of thise things, l take the green, and then l would needed to park it in the corner so l never had to see that headlight ever again. Always approach from behind😄. Im sorry, but this headlight are worse than the new tiger 1200. Just my personal prefrance.

Hey Billy, defo wasn't love from first sight as the side view looked really boxy, though the cockpit view gave us a proper taste of what the bike would be like and loved riding the 1300 in it's non-ADV guise; for me, Trophy all the way (as a current Trophy and former Rally rider of the 1200 and 1250 versions!), but actually I am considering the non-ADV next time around!!....

I’m sure it will be a great bike at some point but there’s nothing that makes me want to change my 1250 GSA for one
