funny, I left Ableton, computers, 3rd party plugins for MPC standalone to get back to basics ;)

@@tjmanou6422 why leave... just add on. It's all connected. All creativity. Never limit yourself. 👍🏾
@tjmanou64222 күн бұрын
@ honestly limiting was the purpose. I placed my work on countless MTV shows. GTA games on PS etc last many years. Was heavily computer based and needed a break I think.
@DaDrankKang2 күн бұрын
@tjmanou6422 everyone has placements... they are starting to become as common as the actual beats. 👍🏾 I'm talking creativity. Never limit that. No matter what you work with. Stay open to everything at all times.

🔥 do u have a template video
@DaDrankKang4 күн бұрын
@@uptownfragrance6148 I think you are getting me confused with these other people trying to sell you stuff. I dont work with templates. You have never seen me promote nor encourage that on any video or live stream. I teach people how to come up with what fits them. Not copy something pre-made. Help sessions are always available. My advice is if you want to learn, put the work in and learn how to create what fits you, your mind, your equipment and your workflow. I have taught and am teaching over 200 sessions monthly to people just like you. No template needed. 👍🏾 DaDrankKang.com/livehelp/

@DaDrankKang @DaDrankKang bro if I go to website u are selling drum packs the mpc courses that are 🔥 that i purchased everyone has a workflow template all I'm trying to support the channel... if i can't ask u who would u recommend to teach me ableton like I learned from u the mpc.
@DaDrankKang4 күн бұрын
@uptownfragrance6148 I dont have a template. And I dont sell courses. Again that's someone else. I have packs to give you guys good sound for anyone it can help. I dont know what else you want from me my man... you see my videos... I work from blank page... not any template. And I teach people how to do the same. If you want templates or courses... im not that dude. If you want 1 on 1 face to face help with what you got going on in your creativity... get at me. 💯

So does the storage drive then get plugged into the mpc hardware? You move the drive back and forth? I thought i needed to load the packs into the mpc itself or at least have a hard drive off of it? Or do you just keep your computer connected to the MPC at all times? Or.....I are you accessing it over the network as a shared drive?

Good stuff! Wrestling between Reason Studios (started in ‘04) left due to lack of VST support at the time and Ableton became my production go to in 2010 and love it but I am getting tiredness of the GUI there’s no diff. color of sections, like one color and no thumbnail like some DAW’s to keep the workflow and creativity process moving, but is very very creatively refreshing! Now I just use Reason Rack extension and be sure to freeze and flatten those tracks after composition…

i hear you. For some visual is a big deal. For me its not. Im more concerned with efficiency and my sound. A DAW can be black and white for all I care... 😄lol! as long as I can get the ideas out.
