i was one of the last to use a gama goat. mine was an m792 ambulance when i was a private in the 82nd. yes we did go amphibious about a half dozen times or so in my four years there. only on Ft. Bragg's Mott lake though. that was 1982 - 86 when the Hummer came out and we got our first Hummer Ambulances.

No. This saw action in Manchuria in 1945. It was a gift from Gorby to a guy in Northern WI to start a museum. It's a well documented vehicle.

Esse tipo de partida desses tratores, é um perigo quando não está bem regulado. Interessante também é o direcionamento dos gazes do escapamento do motor a gasolina que joga toda fumaça na cara do operador. Natal, RN-Brasil

@dave4882 Жыл бұрын
Yes, the Soviets were super lucky to have the Americans do most of the design work on the tank and factory before WWII. Its lucky that the soviets helped Germany develop its forces and start WWII or we'd never know how good of a tank this was.
@majorrgeek Жыл бұрын
@@dave4882 -the primary designers of the T34 were all Russian not American - ironically Germany blocking Ukraine's 2008 bid for NATO membership has also assisted Putin in his plans to invade Ukraine started with Crimea invasion 2014

Inexperienced tank driver making jerky, pause and pivot turns, or is it just not possible to "carve a turn" with this machine? Tanks are capable of making turns like cars, only certain ones I guess
@kaptainkrafter41303 жыл бұрын
Yeah, and it's an old machine probably made in the late 60's. They would have to be careful when driving it since it would probably be hard to get spare parts.

is it hard to steer
@heartland96a Жыл бұрын
No the Ross steering is very good except if your standing still on pavement , then if you creep the vehicle foreword or back the steering effort is reduced. It a combination of the steering wheel diameter and the ratio in the steering box and its design
@desubtilizer10 ай бұрын
Seeing that they put sandbags on top of the front mudguards to keep the front down it may have been. Unlike German halftracks which could also use their tracks to steer using skid steering the US halftracks were reliant on the front wheels for steering. The US halftracks used rubber tracks whereas the German halftracks used metal tracks.
