what i actually was looking for before i saw this was a prosess to make your own bank line.that stuff is getting pricey and its just tared cotton twine.just looking for substitues to make at home but seems they put a lid on that

thought this would be new but seems i just havent heard it called this before.i tend to use these with one of three snare triggers to give it a "set" when the fish hits it and to keep a little pressure on the fish til i get there.but its nice to see the old ways comeing out a bit more

Thanks I like the old ways, It was how I was taught but back in the day we just use willow trees.

Thanks you can also add a short piece of bicycle inner tube in the line if, just tie both ends of the line to the tube, I only do this when I get broke off from bigger catfish, It helps hold bigger ones.
