We just spent a week there, what a lovely, healthy lake. We caught 8 different species off of one dock and all were keepers. I love Maine.

You gotta work your trim. LOL. You were trimmed to high.

It actually ended up actually being the jackplate. It was was too high and after lowering it slightly it doesn’t do this anymore. It was fully trimmed down most of the video.

The 461vs is an amazing boat for 18'9". I have a 96 461vs and its pound for pound the best boat. No wood in the boat is also a huge selling point. The champion fan boys crack me up. Champions didnt get rid of wood in the hull or transom till 2002 or 2003. That alone doesnt want me to touch a used champion prior to those years.

I think they put some kind of powder in the RV to make it look dramatic when they smashed through it. His brake rotors were likely extremely hot and probably caused the powder to ignite on contact.

Don't understand why anyone would want the setback model when you can do the same thing with a jackplate & get more functionality... Less boat in the water maybe...? I hit 61 GPS by myself in my 1991 375V, no jackplate, with a 1990 XP150.

I'm not sure why there is 7 minutes of that view and wind noise. I would much rather see the boat handle rougher wind chop and wake from another boat's view. Just saying, cause I am very interested in the AVX 1980

Harvey Smiley It wasn’t my boat so I didn’t really have a say in when I could drive it, and I do wish I could have run through rough water but there wasn’t any that day. Other people have enjoyed the video, but I can’t please everyone. I will say though, in the few boat wakes I did hit it was very impressive in how it handled them.

Really nice boats but like all the other brands the price has gotten out of hand. Most people I know and see around the lake are getting them used. Legend boats went out of business and they were the nicest ones around. lots of other ones are going to go to if they don't get a handle on these prices. It is nice though.

What kind of weights did people come in with here? My parents-in-law have a place on the lake and I've fished the hell out of it the past two years and don't think I've broken 4 pounds yet. =(
@davidandalex25 жыл бұрын
This was a catch-measure-release tournament. I've seen one at least 5 pounds out of here, biggest I've ever caught was probably 3.5 pounds. Biggest in this one was probably 3 pounds, I think 18.5" if I remember correctly.
