Mick is my dad's brother. We raced against each other until he moved to another club , Hatfield I think. Den Shaw was a great fancier and Mick was fortunate to inherit great birds. Remember the Welsh man, very nice chap.

I believe in the eye sign 50/50% because here in the U.S our pigeons tend to be short distance birds with large pupil and orange color. Their eye looks like feral eyes but man they are fast and win results in race. I seen many pigeons with poor eye sign but they great in race. I only believe in eye sign for breeding like for example rich color is considered heathy. Also breeding different color eye for better result because if you breed the pearl eye over and over it become dull later in the generations. So you have to breed orange to pearl once in awhile to get the rich color eye. Also Bulleye color for white homers, how do you judge that? It’s darker, green/red eye color…

Very interesting. But FCI, isn't that about oneloft races?? So this fancier's pigeons proof to be excellent homers also WITHOUT all the "important" things the fancier mentions. Contradictio in terminae. Although I still think the bonding and the DEDICATION of the fancier are essential.

Seems abit dodgy to me getting people to sell pigeons in your actions knowing you want some of them you shouldn't be able to buy any you can't in a car auction I think they only get the fancier to sell there birds in there auction because the fancier won't sell the birds to them out rite ye they have done well good on em

Beg to Differ My Friend one of the best birds I ever flew in the USA was known as the "TERROR" won I.F. + A.U. Champion he never had that breast skin always richer pink towards red with scales it used to drive me mad but he was unbeatable & he was a Alfons Bowens from Geoff Kirkland same for my blue hen called "the Dream" I.F. & A.U. Champ she was a Verheye from Rex Doe two of the Greats in the pigeon sport & in the off season both won many shows for me a dream to handle & they won from 100 to 500
