Amateur camera work in the first hour of this video....Great race cars, amazing drivers, super fun event. Loved the Porsche 962 and the glorious Ferrari 333 SP. Long live historic racing! Thank you.

very disaapointing coverage. Group A had one session visible and you show highlighted the Lotus's and the leaders only. Much better last year!!!

Awesome Bill from Dawsonville. I actually passed thru Dawsonville on my way back from Petite. Super close. Cool to have such a legend close by to come down and rip it around an amazing track for a cool event.

Fantastic footage, thanks for sharing. Some timestamps for when the various races start would be much apreciated. Love those Group A & B races. The modern cars are marvels in their own right but just aren't as exiting to watch as these old cars. And ofc the "old" Proto Turtles, i love those things.

@HSR You can tell the Track Director, Have him inform the France family that track workers are people as well and will be paid accordingly in the future. Track workers Union coming. NOTHING the France family can do about it! 9 year security veteran for the France family at minimum wage the entire time. They made the mistake, now I will show the world their error of their ways.

it would be cool if you could bring Historic sports car racing to Texas and race at the Texas Motorspeedway

Right on, nice ride! Whats with the cobra drifting back n forth? I mean if someones faster hang to teh right and give them a point by no? Never got into road course racing...way more exciting than drag but lots more $$$ too.

Looked like the roof was blowing off.would definitely slow down the 914 on the straights

Short-stroke 2.5 in the 914. Yves runs a 3.0. Weight is similar for both cars. A good battle indeed!

Point and squirt driving, no power through corners. I suppose the power and wheelbase determines that.

I'd love to get out there n practice like that with a bunch of cars, pretty bad ass, man. Plus, a mustang makes it even better! The race itself, they aren't gonna let you by so easy, plus they wont let up either lol. Still would be a blast regardless. My dad races stock cars here at the Indianapolis Speedrome/Anderson Speedway!
