You need some cattle to eat the rough grass off or it will just go to rashers and you don't want that darling

Hi. Briony. Sheep are looking good. Just a thought ... ... Would it be possible to TOP the long straggerly grass to allow the newer grass to flourish. Looking forward to seeing the new sheep. And the new ram. All the best, stay safe & well. Tat-Tar.

When you get new sheep do you put them straight in with your girls, or do you do a gradual introduction?

Good luck I hope the weather plays ball the forecast is looking pretty good
@insAneTunA6 ай бұрын
@@R.BFarming I live in the Netherlands, and I have lost a lot of trust in the forecasts that are publicly available. Last week the windows weather app showed a forecast of clear skies and sunny weather with 27C for today and yesterday, but yesterday it rained most of the day just as today, and the temp is around 18C instead of 27C. Quite the opposite of what was predicted. And for tomorrow it even looks slightly worse. When I was looking yesterday the forecast for next week showed full sunny weather for almost the entire next week, with temperatures from 25C up to 28C and after that sunny week they predicted that the temp drops down to 21C again. And today the same weather app showed that their own forecast has already changed to mildly cloudy for the entire week instead of full sun, and the previous high temperature predictions are now slightly going down as well. And I dare to bet that tomorrow it will change to rain instead of mildly cloudy. If I look at the satellite pictures from the global cloud formations then I can't see any sign at all for a substantial amount of consecutive dry days for our region. The clouds just keep coming and coming. The highly unreliable forecasts annoy me a lot. I keep buying seeds and flower bulbs based on the forecasts, and each time barely anything wants to germinate or grow because each time the forecasts and reality do not match. Out of the 300 flower bulbs that I planted for this season only a handful flowers popped up, and those that pop up are struggling. And with seeding the germination succes rate was even worse. I have sown thousands and thousands of flower seeds. And so far only a few of them germinated, and they are growing very poorly. Most of them are having trouble to stay upright. If any other type of industry would be as inaccurate as the windows weather app they would be dismantled or fired or they would go bankrupt or whatever it is that would stop them from doing any business at all.
