I wish my family ( my mom & dad and brother & sister and I ) lived in New Zealand so we can be close to our cuzzies. Plus my dad and I can go to heaps of All Blacks games and to see the BlackCaps ( cricket 2.) Hopefully we can go back sometime in 2 years or sooner.

For me, Takapuna has not been the same since the Mon Desir closed and was redeveloped. Is there anywhere else like that with a direct beachfront location in Auckland?

Takapana is fine if you both live and work on the North Shore and only occasional cross the bridge, but it's a nightmare if you have to do a daily commute via private car or public transport bus, as you spend most of your life in a traffic jam. When will Auckland join the 21st century and build an integrated rail connection from the North Shore to Britomart, ideally with stations initially from Devonport (home to NZ's only naval base) to Takapuna and then extended over time to Albany with P+R stations for the North Shore Bays between Takapuna and Albany. And while they are at it, an integrated rail connection from Britomart to the airport.

Gee,hasn’t Hamilton advanced with its attractions like the fantastic Hamilton Gardens,the Zoo and Classic Cars?Also the city’s impressive industrial/Commercial sector of Gateway TeRapa should provide jobs and anchor Hamilton’s future prosperity.There’s more to Waikato than dairy as witnessed by the growth of new ,attractive suburbs .
