If you tripped on this commercial from outside Australia, this particular jingle singer is more famous for various beer commercials. The use of kids in school uniforms, and ladies at the bowls club was another reinforcement of the whitewashing of American influence. But needless to say that it flopped. A lot of the corner stores in Australia had a saturation of candy bars dominated by Mars, Nestle, and Cadbury products and next to those three the Australian consumer rejected them.
