Noop, would not help. The point of this video is to show that this “pump” is fake. Can not work. He explains why it does not work. If it did it would be a Perpetuum Mobile.
@ansuz44415 күн бұрын
@kjellg6532 his lid is not even air tight. he did not even begin to build it correctly, therefore how could it work? if you believe this, you clearly have no hands on experience, but believe what you will. it makes no difference to those in the real world.
@kjellg653215 күн бұрын
@@ansuz444 well, in fact I have been using a siphon for more than 40 yrs. In this video yoy clearly see that air is sucked in via the exit side. This is due to exit being higher up than the water level in the source. This set up inn the video simply can not work. Water flows downwards, not up in a siphon. Exit must be lowervthan the input. To lift water, you must add energy to it. Here is no energy source so no water can be lifted.

Having done alot of these experments It will suck water up the back some but not enough to pull it all the way up. when air enters the outlet pipe it will push the water back to source.

That is why middle bottle or barrel needs to be AIR TIGHT, dummy 😂😂
@richbest9877Ай бұрын
@@ThereYouAreT1 lol the only way for it to be air tight would be to close off the outlet pipe that is where the air comes in from.You did make me think of something that might make this work tho. If you would take an aquarium air stone and plug the bottom pipe with it and let the air be suct through it that might atually cause it to work.
@kjellg6532Ай бұрын
@@ThereYouAreT1 Now, if this setup could work, you could create a hydroelectric powerplant in your back yard. You just take water from the swimming pool, lift it up in thin air and let it fall back to the pool via a turbine/generator. Electric power free and forever. That is wat you clame! Up till now nobody has ever made a working Perpetuum mobile. Do you know how to make it? Just by closing a lid?

The example you modeled is different from the one I saw. The example I saw was explained in a video about how water was pumped upwards in the 1400s in the Alhambra Palace in Granada. If you go to 7 minutes 40 seconds, it explains the system. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rn3EfaODmrSsfs0
@kjellg6532Ай бұрын
The Alhamra Trompe and Air lifting pump is a totally different issue. Combining the two you get a Pulser pump: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulser_pump A Pulser pump works, but not as described in the video you linked to. The video here is debunking those who clame that a siphon can lift water. That is impossible, as shown here.

The bottom hole in the container needs a larger orifice for there to be a vacuum.
@kjellg6532Ай бұрын
This excellent video shows that for this system to work, the orifice of the exit from the system must be lower than the water level in the source. Diameter of this orifice does not matter for the system to work, but has influence on the amount of flow.

I have a question: Lets say. U have a water source At point a. Which siphons downwards in a 90 degree angle. Then. At the bottom of the angle. It goes ipwards in a 10 degree angle to point B. Which is higher than point A. Could the water from point A reach to point B. Or will it get stuck at the same height of point A?
@kjellg6532Ай бұрын
It will stop at the same height as the source. No siphon can lift any water to a higher level. The input must always be higher than the exit from a siphon.

What is the diameter of the pipe. 3/4” (19mm) it is it 1” (25.4mm). How much of the Basasol do you use?
@LoDylan2 ай бұрын
The inlet need one-way valve, tank need to seal tight and the outlet pipe has to be longer.
@kjellg65322 ай бұрын
Sorry, but no. When using a tank you do not need any one-way valve. The tank here is air tight, just watch the video. If the output is longer, horisontaly, it will not help. If the output is longer vertically the whole point in pumping water to a higher level is gone. This excellent video debunk the “drum pump” as fake, and explains why it is fake. The drum pump is a siphon and no siphon can lift water to a higher level.
