The reason why this sensor was responsible for your problem is because the SAAB ACC system uses several data inputs. The round, globe-shaped sensor in the dash and the exterior temperature to decide how much cooling or heating is necessary. If the exterior temperature sensor is faulty, the. the ACC computer lacks sufficient input to make a decision. Go figure! Glad you got the problem sorted!

@@andrebrattlin6577 temp sensor is in the lower grill in the bumper.... you have to go under front bumper and look in centre of lower grill... you see the sensor

Spoiler is a whale tail. My capri 2.8i has a turbo tail and the MK1 3 litre GT has a duck tail spoiler.

Only symptoms i had was hard to start in morning first start.... battery was struggling to start the car... but when it was running no symptoms at all... some people get a code or misfiring.... but i had nothing.... its important to all ways carry a spare d i cassette spare in boot..

You won't find this anywhere on the saab forums. Had a 9-5 2.3t in this week, P1300, p0300, eml...... Changed coil pack, plugs, exactly the same, so thinking is it a cheap coil pack? Saw your video last night, went in this morning, pulled drivers side intercooler jubilee clip off with my fingers. Replaced both, problem fixed. Cheers 👍

Glad you fixed your saab... yes it took days to figure out the problem... hard to believe a jubilee clip can cause so much problems..
