Almost got in touch with your pup's breeder!! 😅😅 I really like their studs, but I'm so glad I decided not to! We decided to get a pup from another Missouri breeder. Sire is "Zorro" imported from Spain and can not wait to get our boy (Onyx) at the end of the month ❤

My miniature schnauzer was docked but not cropped but he was purely a family companion. I plan to get a giant schnauzer and make sure the ears are cropped because they will be trained as a family and livestock guard dog. ❤

Your boy will not be fully grown until 2 years old. I see this video is old, but, for people who don't know, their growth plates and mentally take 2 years. I love my Giant Schnauzers! I have had so many other breeds, but the Giant Schnauzer and Poodle are my top 2 picks....with the German Shepherd and Doberman tied for 3rd. I hope everything turned out good for you and your Giant boy is doing good and staying happy! ❤✌

its possible we received our gs from the same breeder. I never had a problem with her customer service, and I bought 2 gs from her.

@@JAMGSchnauzers she produces great dogs! I know she deals with a lot of ppl so it’s probably not personal I’m just sensitive lol. It was a bit disappointing he was genetically flawed though (and it cost us a lot in surgery)

I’ve heard from a person that knows a lot about schnauzers that sometimes it’s better to cut their ear because of ear infections. Beautiful schnauzer by the way! I have a blue Merle mini schnauzer he’s the best 🥰💛

It pisses me off when people dock ears. Why?? Do you think it looks cool? It’s fucking stupid. My 10 week giant is an absolute bear with his natural ears, didn’t have to put him through anesthesia or any ridiculous surgery to “loOk sCaRy” and don’t give me that BS about ear infections 😂

Very special breed! I have a GS 10-year-old female and still very protective, athletics, a pot of glue! Forget about your personal space! This doesn't exist anymore when you get one of these big babies! Very headstrong, selective hearing, and WOW, are they strong! I cannot play with her the same way I play with my Golden, that is for sure! If they have daily exercise, someone around most of the time if you live close to neighbours. Do not recommend apartment living as they need a lot of space and their bark can raise the dead! But if you have experience and can handle them, they are the best dogs ever! But keep the water bowl outside 🤣.

In the bad old days i had 2 Dobermanns with cropped ears. In those days ears were already cropped when you got your pup. I’m glad in the west of Europe we evolved. There is absolutely not one reason to cut off parts of animals or children. I am together with my second Giant now, and both of them were not mutilated to look “more dangerous “. No need to reply, there is not one single reason, not hearing, not infections, nothing.

@@Keyser_Soze739 Are you or your children circumcised? Do you have tattoos? Any piercings? Are you ok with parents getting their kid's ears pierced? Are you ok with non-medical reasons abortion? How about spay or neutering an animal? Is that wrong, too? What about microchipping the animal? That, too, is painful when it happens. It doesn't HAVE to be done. People should keep track of their pets, right? What about children born with a deformity... like a 6th finger or toe. We should leave it, right? You want to get on a soap box about elective proceedures.... let's talk about them all. Cropping ears has no more long term health effects on a dog than getting a child's ears pierced. They have no long term pain from it. The articles crying about ear cropping mention "blood loss & emotional trauma".... What a bunch of left wing nutjob talk..... Puppy goes under anesthesia, wakes up, gets meds for 2 weeks, all done. Dog doesn't know or care it ever happened for the rest of it's life.

For focus on you do a heel then figure 8. He has to pay attention and change his speed for inside outside keeping pace. Then add in a straight line two steps stop sit, another two steps down two more steps sit again. These two things will force him to pay attention to you.

Very sweet ❤ the only thing I don't like is the cropping and docking ~ it's illegal in the UK unless they require it for working which I absolutely agree with. Natural ears and tail are cuter imo too. Thank you for sharing ❤
