I am not really a Ford/Holden type of guy. I follow drivers. Craig has driven both. He has been my favourite driver during my time of watching V8SC.

This was the last straw that broke the camels back for me to even have any interest in the series. Supercars is a dead series they stuffed up on many aspects with the platform including political BS like this.

From what I can hear from the engine tone and give the time this was made and being a project if I were to guess it's sounds like a LGX v6 (zb commodore v6) with obviously twin turbos

Unless CAMS or the FIA were going to change the rules for tin top cars in Australia this engine was never going to race and was just a publicity stunt. Australia has a 6 litre limit on road race engines, this twin turbo has a capacity of 10.04 litres and doesn't fit the current rules, but then it is Triple 8.

I was part of the crew that wasn't sure how much longer he would be driving full time. When he answered the critics in 2018 I was very surprised. When I heard of his retirement I was surprised but I was sad. As I did not want him to go into retirement.

@@w_stanky The Red Bull Holden Racing Team asked us if we could help them out, with one of their events. By providing 20 cars for their VIP members. I remember this punter, as soon as he walked by the VXR he said “I am not driving that piece of… blah, blah, blah…” after a while talking to the Red Bull Engineers and putting his ego a side. He took the VXR for spin. He got out of the VXR and said… “ I can’t believe that… I really can’t believe that” and that’s the respond that we get from all the customers that test drive these cars.

Holden Brisbane - Eagers Holden & HSV...That’s all good and well but why arnt they selling or do u expect them to at some stage? Twin turbo the 6 at a minimum and offer a modern DOHC V8 not a dinosaur LS and they will sell like hot cakes. It’s nearly 2019 a N/A small cube 6 as the top shelf simply won’t cut it. Kia do a reasonably tidy TTV6 FFS.
