Mr Quanta, I'm truly happy to see you're still around. I started watching you at the height of the pandemic when my country was also in lockdown. Wanted to make music, started with S1, moved on to FL, and ended up with Ableton, just because of the clips. But 5 years later I still can't fully understand Ableton. But Studio 7 has clips, now, so I want to jump aboard again. So here I am. For me, S1 is a lot easier to understand. Long story with a simple question. Also 5 years ago you once made a video on how to change the pitch of individual samples in the drum pattern mode. It truly was a great workaround. But now with S1 version 7, can it be done an easier way or we still got to do it how you described?! Sorry for the long story, but I'm truly happy to hear your voice again. Also happy with the clips they added now, feel like I finally can make some music now, instead of fiddling around in Ableton. Thanks in advance.

Every time I go to record my interface will pick up and then go out and it will be nothing but dead air for a few seconds then it will come back in. Anybody know what the issue is?

They removed the direct download but if you follow the steps on the website where you paste the link into that other website to extract the file it worked for me!

Is there a way of making the group channels visible in the Tracks window (as per Cubase and I think PT as well) as well as the Mix window?

Hey! I'm new to your channel. This is a great video. Your Instrumental is even better! Is there a video posted or a way that you can make one going in depth to how you made this Instrumental? ... Thanks
@quantaaudio6 күн бұрын
I'm not sure if I will do a video on this instrumental, but I'll think about it. I'm just concerned about how to make it interesting since the song is already finished. I always find it more interesting to see people work in real-time and I do plan on incorporating more videos like this in the future where I create instrumentals from scratch. Keep in mind I do also offer one-on-one training so if you'd ever like to meet one-on-one to go over my production process that is available. There's info on that in the pinned comment or description area of this video.

The amount of detail you go into with all these little options, shortcuts and other tips while also not making the video even close to overwhelming at any point is incredible! You know exactly what to dive deeper into and what to skip, keeping the perfect tempo. That's how every tutorial should look like. Stellar job!

New sub. GREAT vid! I learned on FCP7.Had the complete studio files,color motion,etc. Apple introduced X.since then nothing has worked. could not even reload the program.I think Jobs took it with him.Seriously DaVinci looks like the closest program to what I was used to. 20 years ago I did telecine and used the Davinci with our old Rank.Excelllent transfers. Can't wait to start editing. Suggestion,please do a vid on importing ALL formats:DVD,SDS cards,VHS,etc. into the program.I used to need a converter.Thanks FB

Are you seeing a jump in Crashes on the V7 S1?

I personally haven't experienced any crashes. I use very few 3rd-party plugins, however. On Windows 11.

Use 'Info View' = toggle on the question mark in the mouse/cursor tools modifier menu. Then mouse-over the automation to see what you can do to it with quick key/mouse click combinations. For example, to remove a 'fade in to cursor' automation, Info View tells me SHIFT-COMMAND-CLICK on the event handle will remove it. No other source in 15min of searching told me this!

The GUI is bad (washed out, not clear) & the MIDI-Features very poor compared to Cubase. Otherwise good DAW.
@quantaaudio23 күн бұрын
I recently downloaded the 2 month trial of Cubase and found its interface to be quite awful. Way to busy and a bit dated. It's interesting how subjective these things are. For me, the Studio One interface is like a dream.
